Sheena was probably only 14 years old when she was part of a Hip Hop Dance crew that competed professionally. These were grown men, plus Sheena and another girl. It’s no wonder she is the “main dancer” in BINI, even every BINI member bows down to her and gives her her props in dancing. EDIT: also the fact that Gwen is so good at dancing despite not having any official position as a dancer in the group is probably a result of her being very close with Sheena, they have an inseparable bond. They were housemates in PBB (Pinoy Big Brother), even before Star Hunt Academy/BINI.

After reading the second part I actually remember their past kumu live when Gwen wants to do a certain dance challenge on tiktokk cause she said she saw Sheena doing it and Sheena after knowing it said that she will teach her the steps I think its the ( Habang Buhay by Zack Tabudlo 😅) Yeah maybe its one of the reason also Gwen being dedicated to learn new things makes her dancing improve a lot and I think she's a fast learner too 😊

Actually Sheena have a dance group with almost all boys with only 2 of them girls, her forte is actually hiphop before joining bini but she can dance almost any genre hiphop, ballroom, folk dance, break dance, modern dance etc and knows how to choreograph that's why they choose her as Main Dancer, meanwhile Mikha, Colet and Gwen have that swag aura while they are dancing you can easily see that, I actually like Stacey's dance style too when in terms of girly vibes but Jhoanna, Maloi and Aiah can dance really good too in short all of them are really good dancer and they know how to adjust with each other that's why you can see how synchronize they are while dancing Yes I do also like to see them having a song with strong choreography with a touch of hiphop in the future cause I feel that they still have a lot to show us :)

Yes, also all the members said that Sheena is the one who is the fastest to learn a choreo and they all agreed to it, that's why whenever there is a question of who is the best dancer in their group they easily said its her. If you watch her solo dance cover on tikktok and her past dancing you can easily figure why she is the main dancer but in bini songs its hard to notice cause she can't highlight much of her dancing cause their genre is not focus on hard choreo but you can see it on whenever they insert dance break in their songs

But if given a choreo that’s appropriate to her level, I bet she can showcase even more. She can probably keep up with professionally trained dancers that competes internationally. I always wondered how kpop idols can fare against professional dancers, I can picture Sheena can do well.

In terms of dancing, Sheena is already elite, she can do different genre. Mikha is the most flexible but that makes her lack the control in movement especially on her previous dances. Now she's aware of it, her movements is becoming more refined (maturity)& sensible. Gwen is the MVP!! All worked and trained hard to be amazing. I don't think that it was because fans don't like Strings; it's just that we haven't discovered how good they really were at that time. (PPop was ignored and often dismissed even by Filipinos as being inferior KPop copycats back then.) Now that we know what they're capable of, we want that girl crush concept, too (just one song in their upcoming album could work). And it won't be off for as long as it's in keeping with their brand messaging of women empowerment (embracing your own individuality and learning to love and respect the diversity within a group maybe? or a maybe showing their detractors wrong?). It would still be authentic and sincere coming from them. It's even more fitting for them to start now that they have attained a certain level of power (with their popularity and influence) to back up that swag.

Strings is in my top 3 Bini songs. And it's true some fans are changing their opinions to be more positive, but I'd say there's still a big portion that don't vibe with it. For the consensus, it's just not what they want and it's not what they love from Bini. Bini is feel good bubblegum pop at the core. And they do it well. With that being said, "1 song" definitely wouldn't hurt. I also feel Bini will begin trying out new things. Starting with their next album/ep. That's why we should all be excited!

But if you look at how they move? They have more of a hip-hop core to them (esp. the Papi line). Feel good, yes. Bubble gum pop, not really. They've shown that they can execute any genre well so I'm still hoping that they'd try it at least once. But I definitely get why they need to do bubblegum pop for Pinoy blooms that expect that from them. I'm also very excited for their upcoming EP.
