I love the looks on the twins' faces when they are first served their bao like they're trying to figure out this unusual looking "sandwich". Unfortunately, they didn't seem too impressed with the taste. I had to laugh when Guinevere said there was poop inside and then later held her bao up like it was a dirty diaper - so funny! I loved how Gwen told Ana not to hit her instead of hitting back - very grown up! Ana's "super pouty lip act" didn't fool me...she's such a little kidder! I loved seeing the looks of delight on the twins' faces as they playfully kissed their Dad. Playtime seemed to win vs. eating today, but it was sure fun to watch! 🥰💜💖🤟👍🤟👍❣❣

No reprimand for the accidental hit, because, as Alicia said, " She didn't mean to ". It is still worth encouraging a child to say sorry though, even if it wasn't done on purpose. ( That is not " Sorry for what I did ", but " Sorry if it hurt you ". Or for any damage accidentally caused, eg. to property ). I think mama & dad are already teaching this, as I have sometimes heard the twins say it in those circumstances. A & W do not correct every little thing, ( which would mean they were constantly nagging, and their children would just eventually end up ignoring them ), but they don't OVERLOOK everything either. My dad used to tie knots in the corners of a napkin or large clean handkerchief, and make a napkin hat on sunny days to stop his bald patch from getting burnt !

@@lizdahl847”bao” is Chinese word for bun. It can be sweetened with some sugar or honey in the flour or just plain with a little salt. Also any cooked meat or vegetables can be stuffed inside the bao and steamed till bao is softened. Can be eaten any time, like breakfast, lunch, snack time or even supper. Very common in many Asian countries especially China.

Bei uns war es heute sehr drückend und ich hoffe, dass es dann spätestens morgen etwas Abkühlung geben wird. Die beiden Prinzessinnen waren wieder sehr lebhaft heute und ich fand ihr Spiel mit den Fingern auch sehr unterhaltsam. Mittlerweile führen sie auch richtige Konversation und ich glaube, auch die Mama und der Papa geniessen es, sich mit ihren niedlichen Töchtern zu unterhalten. 🩷💜 So liebe Renate, nun wünsche ich dir einen wunderschönen Sonntagabend, sende herzlichste Grüsse und eine dicke Umarmung! 🤗💕🌼 See you tomow-ow-ow! 🙋‍♀🥰
