Alicia, no one should have to explain giving their kids a delightful little snack. All of us moms gave our kids animal crackers, candy filled baskets at Easter, cake and brownies for birthdays, candy when we visited special places, etc. I know I did. And my kids all turned out just fine! Because people are watching, they think they have the right to criticize, while I'm quite certain the majority of us all did the same exact thing. I know it's probably hard to ignore this nonsense of people counting grams of sugar, but you're not doing anything different than 99% of all typical moms do on a daily basis. Further, you beat the pants off of a lot of us. My kids did not eat as wide of a variety of diet as your kids do, bc I'm very picky and could never dream up the amazing meals that you do!

The twins bring back such sweet memories. I have twin grandchildren (boy and girl) soon to be 18 years old. I kept them every day until they started school. Meal times were such good times. One of the things they loved most at lunch was mixed vegetables and avocados. I miss those days and they soon will be off to college in separate states. Your girls are so smart and just beautiful. It is obvious that you spend your days talking and teaching them. What blessing!!

Guinevere uses her Supergirl x-ray vision to see any fly brave enough to enter their home, and Anastacia will invariably notice, and point out, to mom and dad that they forgot to clear the microwave. Very detail oriented! I, too, love their interactions with each other, which, to my delight, seem to be happening more and more frequently. I'm looking forward to what new things they'll say or do tomorrow. (I miss their tomorrow-row-row and that Beano is no longer 'Bebo').🤗🩷💜🐶

My son could not have sugar, because he could not digest it until he was about 10 years old. When he could have sugar he would eat crazy amounts any time he could get it. Letting them have some sugar will keep them from feeling deprived.

I think once a week sweets are totally fine. I remember back in the 60s every Sunday we would go to the local five and dime and get a 10 cent bag of candy ( which in those days meant 10 pieces of candy). We always looked forward to Sundays.

Buc-ee's is so neat! My adult son loves all the jerky!!! I tried a brisket sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! Bought a stuffed Buc-ee that came with washable markers to color it for my two year old grandson. ❤

Agree!! Alicia should learn to trust her motherly instincts much much more, instead xonstantly reading what's in the food and snacks she gives her 2 little princesses. She dont need to explain..just trust herself. Giving food and snacks a little less attention when they're on camera. They will remember that food is a form of getting attention, Maybe not now but when they're on puberty or teens.

Yes Linda Brown, Amen to that. I think some people are rude in how they comment, and some obviously don't see how much nutritious foods Alicia gives the girls. And that the portions are so much smaller than they appear on camera. Like their Moana and Mini Mouse drink bottles--I have the same ones and they're really small! But look so much larger on camera.

In the US, there are 16 million children who are food-insecure, in households too poor in under-resourced communities to provide adequately for them. This is true around the globe. Yes, give to Ana and Guin. But also please support agencies that feed at-risk children.

Yes. There are so many in-need children in our own communities. And also, the neglected, invisible population of the elderly. You'd be surprised how many children go to school hungry I was one of them. Now I'm one of the below the poverty line elderly that no one seems to care about--life in America. But it's great that the Barton Twins receive so much love from fans--and I'm sure Alicia donates to some outside causes!! My heart goes out to the underserved poor, neglected, and often abused children of this world. Being one myself, it certainly makes growing up a great challenge.

I am a supporter of collecting food in our town for the food banks. As a former teacher too many children come to school hungry. Please donate to your local Food Bank.

I love that store. I wish you had one close to you guys. I am not concerned that you give them too many sweets. Your girls love fruit and other foods. It's better to introduce them to sugars, and then they learn to limit them. I went to school with a girl who was not allowed any sugar, so when we got to high school, her lunch consisted of a brown bag full of candy and nothing else. She would stop at the candy store every day.

Love these twins! Soo cute and adorable! They make my day! Re the sweet treats, I agree they should be allowed some sugar at this age. My daughter tells me now at 30 yrs old because I wouldn't allow her pop as a child she would love to go to friends to get it. Now she drinks pop every day. So that certainly backfired on me but who knows it might have saved her teeth😊
