The girls singing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' was delightful! This much loved children's song was composed here in Colchester (the oldest city in the UK) by Jane Taylor and her sister. We will soon have a statue celebrating the two young women and their song. This will be placed (opposite the City Hall) on Colchester's High Street. I wonder if the girls will one day come to see it?

Sometimes they actually end up really liking something they were reluctant to taste, and sometimes they are quite resolute in their refusal. As Momma Alicia says...it's no problem - LOL! 😉

I do/don't like it" with all the variations and emotions in between, (while Ana got stuck in) to the unanimous request for the apple and strawberry snack. Walt started something with this dehydrating stuff. I dug mine out of the closet and have several trays of fresh pineapple drying. House smells incredible. Whole fresh Pineapple has been on sale for $1 each the last couple weeks. I wonder if it would be too fibrous for the girls. Their love of fruit is wonderful. 🍎🍐🍓🍍

Have you ever tried freezing pineapple. It’s delicious. After cutting it up I put it in a freezer bag in a single layer and put it in the freezer laid flat until it freezes. Then you can move it around.

@@Mona.555 hi Mona! Yes, I freeze it as well and agree, it’s delicious and very refreshing during the summer months. Have to take advantage of these terrific prices while I can. We especially like meatballs (venison) with a homemade sweet/sour type of sauce using the frozen pineapple, served over rice.

I freeze bananas 🍌 and 🍇 also. Same technique just put in freezer bag in a single layer until frozen. I leave them whole and just wrap a folded paper towel around the bottom to hold. It stays frozen until eaten and doesn’t melt like ice cream. Also delicious because it is like the best 🍌ice cream you have ever eaten except it’s much healthier. No preservatives or sugar and fat. Hope you try it. Grapes 🍇 and Cherries🍒 freeze well. I have actually used them like ice cubes. Strawberries🍓 are a big fail👎🏼unless you’re making a drink. They freeze hard as a rock.
