I always spoke to my son like an adult. Never just said, No! Just explained why not. My son knew this. Once, we were in Toys-R-Us, my son didn't want a toy I showed him. A woman down the aisle couldn't believe a child would not grab a toy given him😊because he knew he could have anything in the store I agreed to. The twins are not deprived of things, so they don't feel rebellious.

Yeah I was talking to my son and I remembered I'd been watching Alicia's vids for about a year and a half and they're totally different now it's crazy that in only 18 months how much they speak now and I'm sad cos I just heard Beano tappa tapping on the kitchen floor ❤

It’s so wonderful seeing them try all kinds of food, it inspires me to cook new things n try different foods. Such a joy to watch their videos n how adorable they are! I wish idve had my son try different foods when he was this age, because now he won’t try anything n is stuck only on certain foods, he eats the same things all the time, n is missing out. Awww, they’re so sweet! When Ana was saying goodbye she reminded me of them kissing each other when sitting in their high seats & their hair! Wow, their hair has really grown & it’s looking good. They’ve grown up so much this year, if I’m right they learned how to talk & understand words & colors, how to walk, swim, playing in the ocean comfortable, etc. It seems as though they’re making huge milestones every day. They wouldn’t be able to do it without both of you teaching them with love & support. Thank you for all you do, opening up your lives & how wonderful life is. And I’m thinking of Beano 🙏. ❤❤❤❤

Just love their imagination and intelligence. Guinevere's "it's me, Mickey!" and Anastasia's "woo-hoo, yeah!" with her flying fingers. It's no wonder they are so smart; Alicia incorporates learning into every meal. 'What color are the grapes? They're pretty sweet, aren't they? Who's on the waffle? Remember, if we spin it too much, it gets all wonky. I gave your sister three grapes, so I'm going to give you three.' She reinforces what the girls tell her, too, including adding empathy to their finger play with the hugs,🫂 and affirming what they tell her - "it's little, tiny" 🤏 and "you're right. It does have squares on the back". 🔲🔲🔲 My mom was an advocate of no baby talk, and showing & explaining everything to us from when we were babies. She did it with the grandchildren, too. I followed her lead when I had a family. Children are amazing little sponges - they absorb everything! Kudos to Alicia and Walt for their parenting style.💯😊❤️💙💜🩷
