Twins Try Portuguese and Azorean Snacks! | Twins Try

Our friend brought us some snacks that he grew up eating in the Azores (an autonomous region of Portugal), and we had to try them! We tried some traditional Portuguese and Azorean foods like arroz doce which is a sweet rice pudding, Pastel de nata which is Portuguese egg tart, Azorean sweet bread traditionally eaten during Easter (it had egg on top!), Santa Catarina Tuna Steak in Tomato Sauce (from the Açores), as well as some chocolates with passionfruit (maracujá) and Regina chocolate which is Portuguese chocolate with almonds.

The first one is called "Folar", usually we call it "Folar de Pascoa" because we have it during easter like you mentioned!! :)
