I know with skill drain you can still activate effects, but shouldn't it have been negated still at 24:33?
@BrightDR2 жыл бұрын
I believe technically you tribute Sunny first, then she activates her effect in the GY, so the effect is not the tributing, but the summoning, which happens when Sunny is already in the GY, kinda weird I know. the ";" in the card description is the reason you can do this I think, if that was an "and" it would be negated I think

Is this deck consistent? I usually play pure twin with schyte lock. And the flex spot 1 unchained abomination. Having trouble against despia these days going second.
@BrightDR2 жыл бұрын
It's pretty consistent imo, you have all your usual cards for the twin combo + now you also have some extra unchained plays, and yeah I think most decks are having trouble against Despia, they are absolutely dominating the meta right now
@NeostormXLMAX2 жыл бұрын
Scythe lock isnt as good in master duel like in tcg, there is no side deck, and its pointless if you go second, also floo and eldlich run amonk along with the new umi control and a few others, you basically run a few bricks just to pull it off but i guess this is one of the decks that can easily run it since you can pop itself. Other wise with halq banned, its not worth running 4 bricks for dpe

What’s the synergy besides Unchained not needing there normal summon that much. It mostly just seems like 2 competent archetypes in one deck.
@BrightDR2 жыл бұрын
Mostly because both archetypes lock you into only summoning fiends and both archetypes are mostly dark fiends, so unchained is one of the few archetypes you can actually combine with twins, also they both like destruction, you can trigger abominations effect with Lil-la or destroy unchained cards to special summon other unchained monsters that can then destroy a card, all during your opponents turn, obviously they are also both link heavy decks, so you can climb links really easily cycling Lil-la and ki-sikil, your overal full combo endboard can also just interrupted your opponent a lot more And let's not forget, the names of the cards! The unchained fiends are also twins! So yeah I certainly think these are 2 amazing archetypes together in one deck, and this works so well because there is a lot of synergy, at least that's how I see it, feel free to disagree Tldr: Twins, Dark Fiends, Links, like destruction, lot's of interruptions during opponents turn, Bigger endboards

@@BrightDR Thanks for the thorough explanation. I love mixing archtypes and just blending different things into solid archetypes. How competitive is this build? Is it Diamond 1 worthy or more of a platinum 1 level deck.

4:24 why it couldn't destroy? You were ruthless with your opponent, damn, link 2 dog into Unicorn? This version has more treats to watch for instead of classic half handtraps deck of twins, and thus is enjoyable to watch
@BrightDR2 жыл бұрын
Lord of the Heavenly Prison makes it so all set cards can't be destroyed And I also love this version of the Twins, you have a lot more interruptions during your opponents turn, you are a little more vulnerable for the meta handtraps, but the good thing is, if your Twin combo get's interrupted, you can most of the time still go the unchained route after that but this version is for sure the most fun way of playing twins imo
@Jyxero2 жыл бұрын
Oh, for both sides... I better be careful when playing Metalfoes The thing is that this sets a identity ("Twins alliance") instead of just being copy-paste of all other decks, I must admit that my favorite version features Mathmech, but if I ever gonna grab back my Twins, I'll give this decklist a try for sure

I noticed that there's like ONE game out of all of them that YOU DON'T open a hand trap...I wonder why you won most of those games. I'm sure there's a noticeable difference in the decks power if you DONT open a hand trap.
@BrightDR2 жыл бұрын
That's a bit of an exaggeration I believe, about halve of the duels I didn't open a handtrap, and in a lot of the duels where I did, the handtrap was not the reason I won the duel. Yes I agree that unfortunately in the current master duel meta, handtraps are strong and used often in all good decks because of it, but they are more ways to counter/bait cards that would negate your main combo, not a core part of a deck. This deck can also draw a lot of extra cards with the twins, or search for cards/ summon from deck etc. that's why you can use more than 40 cards and still have a balanced and consistent deck, sure the handtraps help you, especially if your opponent also opens with handtraps, but they are far from the reason I won those games, not sure what made you doubtful about this deck, I agree the pure version with 1000 handtraps probably is stronger, but not by a whole lot imo
@RasAlXander2 жыл бұрын
Evil Twins needs a nerf in my opinion or maybe I just don't have the cards needed to counter them (I run non-meta and rogue decks). Two cards that can recycle and dismantle your entire board shouldn't be allowed.
@Jyxero2 жыл бұрын
This version is way more manageable (but aggressive) than the one with 15 handtraps As someone who runs Aromage, Tindangle & @Ignister, haven't had too much trouble with these ladies (Maybe lucky due to good hands in like 10-15 matches) And at least these aren't as splashable and annoying as DPE
@BrightDR2 жыл бұрын
I personally don't think they need a nerf at all, they are easily countered, ash, ghost belle, called, nibiru, Maxx c, imperm, effect veiler, they all stop the combo, + you can't use dpe or adventure engine in this deck, that's why they are not even on the tier list right now, yes they are strong, but still a very fair and balanced deck imo, I think there are a lot of other more problematic decks out there like floo, prank, swordsoul, virtual world, ...
@RasAlXander2 жыл бұрын
@@BrightDR Yea I didn't use any of those cards for Odd Eyes deck. So I guess I need to add them in there. Unfortunate but I legit couldn't stop them without it and on top of that when I finally had something going they ended up getting out Zeus and had Ash in their hand, so I lost to it.

@@Jyxero I want to build Tindangle and Norse deck. Saw those Tindangle make nutty plays. Also DPE isn't really annoying to me. Maybe cause I don't run into him a lot and when I do, I have decks that can play through it or negate it.
