The Honda Insight got 52MPG, a Toyota Prius? 53MPG.
What does it take to get 2000MPG in Automation?
Turns out not as much as you might think. The game is so broken right now that its possible to get 1000mpg in just about any body.
So today I build the worlds highest fuel economy car ever in automation. Then I drive it in BeamNG. Apparently a 6HP Hypermiler is veryyy slow at the drag strip.

Maybe a fwd drag car? Something with high horsepower? 4 cylinder big turbo? With the cool wheel sizes I see that being a lot easier at least for the look. Also the 4 cylinders sound way cooler now!

The half a liter fuel test would've been interesting too. Just launch the car with 0.5 liters of fuel and use cruise control so you dont have to accelerate forever

For those unaware, that's around 850 kilometres per litre of fuel. Ps: (That's the value in the thumbnail, 800Km/L for the actual car)

Every car/engine reads infinity range when idle in beamng You should add the other UI elements Theres one that shows fuel in tank along with mpg and range all in the same box along with other vital information. If you drove whilst checking that range you might have seen how many miles it will do with 1litre of fuel for example Good work on the video though 👍

So it's little unbalanced on the turbo side to, I made a car in 2007, the weighs only 800Kg, and has 600Kw/800Hp.. keep in mind that that is the power output for a 3.4L V8 engine.. there was a tiny bit of quality spam, but that is some power to weight I have not been able to achieve in years, on a car the would actually sell.. according to automation, this monster would sell as a Track car A FULL carbon, 800Hp 800Kg TRACK car, in 2007!, I could definitely get more power out of the engine though.

The record is actually 2000mpg plus believe it or not. Looks like guy martins gravity racer except obviously it has a tiny engine which goes off every 5 seconds to save fuel. I think it got like 2600mpg... nuts...
