I LOVE THIS VIDEO! I MADE SEVERAL INFINITY SCARFS AND THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN TO MAKE! I WANT TO GET INTO MAKING MORE FAUX FUR INFINITY SCARFS AND ALSO MAKE MATCHING FAUX FUR VESTS TO GO WITH IT. I MADE A SET USING SHERPA FABRIC. TURNED OUT SO PRETTY!

Merry Christmas! Your scarf is beautiful. The instructions were clear and eaay to follow. I opted for the 90/14 stretch needle for the velvet knit I had. The long seam (parallel to the selvage edge), sewed beautifully. However, lining up the edges of fabric after having made the twist, was nearly impossible. The edge away from me curled back. Maybe in part the weight of the fabric? It reminded me of magnets that won't stick when turned the wrong way. I tried lots of pins, then tried binder clips. Finally resorted to hand basting the best I could and sewed. I was so glad for coming to the spot to leave open. It was also a little hard to sew it closed too.. Possibly there is a bit of raw edge, but it won't fray or show. Machine sewing the tube ends together would have been easy with woven fabric. Or maybe I should have laid it on the table rather than in my hands. I considered glue but didn't hit handy. I have enough fabric for a 2nd scarf.... Would it have been easier if I cut the fabric parallel to the cut edge?

Wonderful ! Great teaching tutorial, Laura ! I was going to crochet one but I thought sewing would be a lot fast. Going fabric store tomorrow to shop. It’s cold now and I lost my favourite scarf. Thanks for showing me how to bury the ladder stitch. I know how to sew ladder stitch but never knew how to bury it . Lol Now I know !

Ha, ha, ha! I laughed out loud as soon as you said "Silver Fox" because of how I (and probably others) view your appearance and professionalism in your tutorials. I definitely want to make one of these twisted infinity scarves. Thanks for the pattern, Shannon Fabrics, and thanks Laura for the tute. Have a great day!

Where do I buy the silver fox fabric at
@newbeequilter6 жыл бұрын
@Sondra h - The fabric: Luxe Cuddle® Silver Fox Sterling/Black, is shown here: www.shannonfabrics.com/cuddle/embossed/luxe-cuddle-sup-r-sup-br-silver-fox-sterling-black. At the upper right of that page, click on “Where to Buy” and then, type in your zip code here: www.shannonfabrics.com/index.php?main_page=store_locator OR: If you want to take a chance without seeing it in person first, this might be an option on eBay: For an entire site search, I typed in : "Shannon Fabrics" + cuddle + "silver fox"

You often mention Shannon Fabrics in your tutorials. Can one purchase from them if you are not a business? Do they ship to Canada? I live in rural Manitoba and don't have easy access to fabric shops.
