Nice moves, this game is tough. It felt way harder than TM2, the AI will wreck you in seconds if you're not careful.

i think it's interesting that the car wreckages stay present in the first TM but are absent in every other game

Car wreckage is present in TM Head On as well.

TM1, TM2, HEAD ON/LOST have the wreckages iirc. TMB, TM3 and TM4 do not.

Minion is a truck in Black to have a more realistic output in the game. It's also why Mr. Grimm is a cannibalistic Vietnam veteran, and warthog is now a station wagon strapped to tank treads.

TMB Warthog is the Joneses Station Wagon (from TM4) Strapped onto a Smaller APC Tank. Minion from the First 4 TM's is a much Larger APC Tank. In Black, he is an Exaggerated Sized Tanker Truck. Same exact Truck Models as when you Fight Warhawk in the Final Battle. (The Smaller Tankers that Run into you, that you use against Warhawk itself). Except the Hit Box is vastly Weakened to that of Tin Foil, and no Shield. I Hate it when they Downsize Boss Character's once you Unlock them. It doesn't Give off that Presence as their A.I. Counterpart.

@TehFreshhie I have an Xbox360, so FML, but my older brother has a PS3 and is gonna buy it. Since I couldn't get it for myself. I spoiled it for myself and watched the storyline on KZbin. Best storyline of all Twisted Metals, I might add.

The footage is rather grainy, but there are more frames than what's on the PS3 port. Did you record this from an emulator or the actual PS1?

Crimson Fury has always been a sports car, in the older ones it's a Lamborghini, and in the new one it's a Ferrari.

Scratched up disks do that. Mine does and it's always on the last level, which has the best music in the entire game!

NintendoFan69 when one of my discs don't work, I get another one... or just wash it in the sink... but TM 3 and 4 have cheats to help you stay alive (your health bar is always full and God Mode to protect you)

I dont think Ive ever beaten this game My disc was too scratched and sadly I dont think I can get myself to play this game again :( ill play tm2 anyday tho

thekillerwaldo 8 opponents is way to many if you only have 2 lives, limited health and inventory :( and some look like the same when you play 3

Give it a try, I have been replaying both and TM 1 is still fun as hell. Its the closer game to TM 2 you will ever find.

The Ps3 version is actually VERY good, but it definitely doesn't beat the classic. That's not something I'm going to hold against it, though, as nothing can ever beat the first two Twisted Metals.

Ps3 version is the best TM but sadly has only a few characters, and some extra playable cars were planned and modeled but never realeased

I think they chose gameplay over graphics. The first 2 games weren't pretty, but destroying the grim reaper and a taxi cab in an ice cream truck MORE than makes up for it.
