i love how this game gives you upgrades for defeating enemies and if you live through all of it without loading, you keep the upgrades and become a tank as mr grimm or twister sometimes! XD

loved playing head on its my favorite twisted metal game for the gameplay. story is great but i love black for how how twisted and dark they really made it.. but the minigames are used for extra lives and unlocking axel hammer head and one other??
@cupheadsboyfriend6152 ай бұрын
The upgrade is really fun tho i wish outlaw and thumper's special didn't get Nerfeed because of it. Not to mention you can't get upgrades in the endurance mode. That would've made that mode actually fun to play.

(this is NOT criticism) Notably, this is literally the only channel I have enjoyed so much (probably due to the snark content) that I attempted to subscribe more than once, forgetting that I was already subscribed. It's that fkn good.

His ecstatic voice makes it more enjoyable. There are so many games I hope he does these videos for. The Twisted Metal ones so far are his very best. I lost count on how many times I sat through and watched each one.

With the Peacock series out, and a second season on the way. You would think that they would do a resurrection of the franchise. We haven't had a game since 2012. You think Sony would do something but maybe they're trying to find the right cook. Because Twisted Metal is like an American garage Thrash Metal band. You gotta have the right vide to the franchise.

Actually played through this whole game with my little brother today! One of the best games in the series imo, even though it does feel a bit shallow in comparison to TM Black due to it having less story elements and a lower number of contestants per level because it's a port of a psp game. Despite those flaws the gameplay is mostly great and the return to the tone and art style of TM2 with the graphical upgrades of the ps2 is super sweet and the bonus features on the ps2 are a lot of fun too. (Plus, Grasshopper is actually playable now lol) easily in the top 3 Twisted Metal games for me.

Weird Im a huge fan of TM but only heard of this game recently
@Physsyra9 ай бұрын
Ideally I want every TM ported to PS5 since 1 and 2 got the red carpet treatment. But I want Head-On most of all because this is the game I played the most as a kid, way more than Black or anything else. This game, to me, is how twisted metal should be at its core stylistically and mechanically.

I don't normally comment but damn this series was an amazing trip down memory lane of my childhood twisted metal days, was super looking forward to this one since it being my last twisted metal i played even got a PSP just to play it. Was the only game i had for the PSP and played ever loving shit outta it even 100%ing it. Not as good as 2 but for it being so portable on the PSP it was perfect a worthy sequal and now i have PS Vita with Twisted metal 2 on it which i also play the shit out of still.
@aaronhemme89139 ай бұрын
Twisted 2 Is my favorite as well. It doesn't matter that game has aged like fine wine......Well difficult wine from the DIFFICULT levels of insanity of it. It twas a product of the late 1990s. And just like how the beatles came out at the right time , and just like how the first batman movie came out at the right time at the year of 1989. Twisted Metal 2 came out at the right time, That's why it's so fondly remembered.

So hype you got to play my personal favorite and childhood TM game, even tho I prefer the PSP version since there were some mild audio issues and weird song mixes for the final bosses in the Extra Twisted Edition but I digress.. I doubt it but let's hope for Rouge Trip which was going to be TM3 if Single Trac never left Sony

Heyyy! my comment made the ending screen there! haha nice! :D MAN whatta' journey it's been huh?? it's been sucha blast seeing you cover the Twisted Metal franchise from 1 all the way up till 2012 and then head on! hahah, my favorite twisted metal game of all time is EASILY Twisted Metal Small Brawl, cause i just love the style, the characters, the music, the levels, and just the REALLY cool juvenile aspect that it had, i can kinda resonate with it alot onna personal level lmaoo, but! the close seconds are 3, black, 1, and 4! i haven't played 2012 but i plan to someday! and man Twisted Metal is just so damn awesome hahah, can't wait for more videos from ya ScreenSlayer! you ROCK! :D

I didn't have a PSP when this released, so when it eventually came to PS2 with a bunch of bonus content, like a playable version of the cancelled Twisted Metal Black sequel, I was pretty happy to finally play this gem of a game. The PS2 version of this game also includes the ending sequences from the first game, that were removed due to disc space limitations, so that was nice.

I was wondering earlier this week if a new Twisted Metal vid was coming out from you. And I guess my gut was right! Love these and I actually like Head On quite a lot. Its not my fav which will forever be Twisted Metal 2 but it certainly feels very much like the first two games in the series which is a wonderful feeling. I hate all the other games beside those three for various reasons and still have 3 and 4 just to laugh at some times. But Head On is special and would tell anybody thinking of trying it to give it a go. I like alot of the maps and boss fights and they certainly did a great job on this game.
