This was such a cool intro cutscene for a game like this. It really showed the chaotic nature of the gameplay and gets you really pumped up to play the game. I only wish that the actual game had followed that same cel-shaded artsyle instead of the more realistic approach but I get they probably wanted to show off the graphic capability of the PSP at the time

i wanna play this one but i only have Black, and Black is tough once you realize that the enemies are not killing eachother hard-enough and are dumping their powerups on you. i had a time where Preacher was gonna hit me with his special (which is flinging a guy that soon kamikazes himself), but i got rammed by someone and they took the explosion- at this point im ranting about a 20 year old game. TM Head-On is a good game to start in the franchise, not Black. either Head-On or the first 2 games

​@@madmonty4761 black is just more dark then what the series usually is. Dont get me wrong the story in Black is good, its the combat that sticks-out to me as more of a "you against everyone else." Which is fair enough i guess when all of the contestants are from an insane asylum

@@RJ-hk7oj Kinda reminds me of how God of War Ascension turned out. Sony was really trying to up their game and go mainstream in the late years of the console. And as much as I love the PS3 and PS Vita, Sony had never been the same after trying to modernize themselves. Especially after they made PSN paid.

i would say play the ps2 version, but that would defeat that fact, so get a PSP off of ebay. i got my Gen 1 PS3 a little under $200, i bet you can find a working psp with all the necessities for about half of that
