This is a replay of a Facebook Live I did on Feb. 28, 2022, the last day of the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration promotion. If you are watching the same day, you can still take advantage of the promotion. With every $50 you spend, you will be able to choose a free item from the Sale-A-Bration brochure! Visit my online store to shop or for more information.
If you are watching later than Feb. 28, 2022, please enjoy how to make a Twisted Ribbon element on your card. Post your version as a comment on my Facebook post on this. We love to see some different colors, patterns, designs, etc!
Here are the basic measurements you need for this element:
Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
First Layer: 5-1/4" x 4"
White Cardstock: 2" x 5-1/4"
Designer Series Paper (DSP): 4 strips each of two different patterns 3/4" x 3-1/4"
With a pencil, lightly mark the 2" x 5-1/4" piece of white cardstock every 3/4" along the 5-1/4" side. Do the same on the other side. you will then adhere the Designer Series Paper along this according to the instructions on the video.
The white card stock that you lay your DSP strips on can be wider if you like. Just then cut your DSP strips a little longer.
Have fun doing these on your own!
