TWISTED SISTER was one of the greatest live performing bands of all time

In the early and Mid 80's, TS was as raw and real as music could be. This was back before the internet and grunge and the downfall of the western world. They have incredible energy and enthusiasm and push playing live. Dee was in the trenches fighting against the PMRC and censorship along with Zappa and other musical heros. Long live TS

Someone reposted the online argument between Dee and Paul Stanley recently. It finishes with Dee challenging KISS to a battle of the bands. There's no way KISS could have won against TS at almost any time. TS is tighter and has a far superior rhythm section. KISS always had Gene's fart bass dragging them down. Gene and Paul both sound like Riff-Raff from the Underdog cartoon. I saw KISS twice and it was okay entertainment, but it didn't bowl me over. I'm sorry I never saw TS. That would have done the trick.
