Everyone who hasn't ridden this thinks it is a weak RMC and isn't that great should not even make opinions before they ride. That's a problem with low-credit enthusiasts, they just judge by how the POV looks. Before I went on this, I thought it was just gonna be an okay ride. But I can't decide if I like this or Steel Vengeance better. (I've ridden both) It really is a fantastic ride. It is extremely intense, more intense than Steel Vengeance in my opinion. The three back to back hills are the best parts of the ride. It was airtime twice as strong as any of Steel Vengeance's airtime. Don't criticize a ride before you ride it.

I disagree with the airtime twice as strong. When I rode the airtime was 100 times better than timbers. Twisted timbers has a bit of slow down pacing issues cause of how small it is so i dont exactly like it. I believe SV is better.

HicaptainWorld Well I may have been exaggerating a little. But I still do think it has stronger airtime than Steel Vengeance. Also, I just rode Twisted Timbers in like 93 degree weather, and its pacing was the best pacing on any ride I have ridden. (I haven't ridden Lightning Rod yet.) And they've been slowing down Steel Vengeance. So, Twisted Timbers wins for pacing. Which results in it being better than Steel Vengeance. My opinion, feel free to disagree.

I don't know if the airtime is twice as strong but honestly, I also rank it above Steel Vengeance. Maybe I was too hyped up about Steel Vengeance, never followed a construction so intensively and then I expected maybe too much. It's no complain at all, both rides are amazing and I would give both a 10 out of 10, just personally Twisted Timbers is my favorite :)

Personally, I was more excited for Twisted Timbers then for Steel Vengeance. I am probably not going to ride either but Steel Vengeance has been talked about so much that feels overrated.

So true and this more fitting and unique than Steel Vengeance, that one will be good but it's all size and another cedar point coaster with a steep drop. Meanwhile you have this coaster that hugs the ground while having different unique inversions and plently of airtime with the awesome inversion drop like storm chaser. Not saying "inversions" make it better but the drop is definitely more unique and the layout isn't another giant RMC Steel Vengeance=Goliath+New Texas Giant Upgraded.

oh god. C'mon that has to go Goliath or that the dumb uncesssary RMC of a GCI "Roar" into Joker, or the upcoming Twisted Cyclone (blue rails, not to be confused with wicked cyclone these names seriously). Bigger is so far from better or endless speed versus gradual slowing down and more hangtime.

I went to KD as part of a band trip because of the Festival of Music and this ride was a walk on, everyone was so focused on dominator and volcano that I got to ride this 4 times in a row! The only complaint I have is that when the lines eventually got longer, they still only ran 1 train when they ran 2 earlier! By the way I have only ridden coasters in the Williamsburg area and this one is definitely my new favorite!

I really enjoyed this ride on Friday!! My first RMC was at Busch Gardens Tampa…the GREAT Iron Gwazi was pure intensity; simply exhilarating! Twisted Timbers is an air time junky’s dream come true! The first drop is amazing! Iron Gwazi is still my favorite RMC, still have to ride Steel Vengeance!

CoasterFanatics Yeah, realized that one stretch of a planned (but not yet finalized) road trip has me driving a very long leg from SFA to Myrtle Beach. I started looking to see where I might spend the night along the way to break up such a long trip, and then I realized I’d be driving right by KD. I just went there last season, but I’ll have a Cedar Fair pass so why not stop in for a few rides on TT, i305, etc.???

Kings dominions line up is so rounded out with this, I got 4 rides and it was so great. I really love how they added tons of theming and the queue is right inside the whole coaster so you see it go around you constantly while waiting

This is probably the best video you have done so far on your channel. Excellent work. I was actually looking for you yesterday. I thought it was an awesome ride really really smooth. This is the only RMC that I have ridden. For you to give it High Praise of the other conversions makes this ride really special. I went back for a night ride, and it's much better at night. I also want to add, the theming for the ride is all over the place. Kings Dominion is not really known for theming their rides. this one is very well themed.

Patrick, this POV is much better than the front bumper POV distributed by KD. The airtime is much more noticeable. Transitions are more fun looking at the riders perspective. You are the first one I have seen to get a POV up from this perspective and it makes such a difference.

Ok so I went on this with my best friend cos she loves big roller coasters and my german cousin cos it’s a tradition to go on a coaster when we see each other. It was the best coaster open (I was at the winter thing) the other ones were dominator (too big for me😅) and the pumpkin coaster (too small) So I went on this after my friend begged me for it and wow. It was my first coaster going upside down and I loved it

I rode this for the first time recently on Memorial Day. Twice. In the back row. It slapped! The first time I had enough room so I wasn’t stapled, but not quite as much as I wanted so the ejector hurt my thighs some. I got off and thought it was fun, but wasn’t immidiately wowed by it. My friend and I agreed though that we would ride again. Later on after 2 consecutive early night rides on I305 in the front and back which also slapped and was totally worth the wait and downtime, we headed back over. On the way though it started to rain pretty hard and the ride was switching to one train. We had to wait while the train was moved and we weren’t sure we’d be able to ride. But we did and got back row again per my request. The ops remembered me this time and gave me more room. The op was like who’s ready for Twisted soak city Timbers? And everyone cheered. We were joking with the people behind us about wet ejector. That was one of the best rides of my life despite the rain and one train ops!!! And that was my first RMC and giga that day. The next people got to ride while the fireworks went off. The airtime was insane!!! Not quite as sustained as el torro, but maybe slightly more violent. I have yet to ride Steel Vengeance but after that I really want to. One ride was enough to show me why everyone was so obsessed with RMC. I’m glad you rated this ride so high.

This is the first RMC I ever rode. The 3 airtime hills are probably the most insane element I’ve ever experienced on a rollercoaster, yes it beats greying out on Intimidator 305’s first turn. Dont pass up the chance to ride this!

I would like to ride a roller coaster with you some day. I like how you go "WHOO HOO!" on the first drop in every POV I've seen. I was there for the media event and passholder preview and rode Twisted Timbers 5 times total with 3 rides in the back row. It was my first RMC and it did not disappoint. I thought it was slightly better than I305 because of the awesome airtime.

I rode Steel Vengeance this year. Cedar point is simply the best roller coaster amusement park in the world. That’s why they always have the best rides. This ride looks amazing, but Steel Vengeance I believe has it beat.

I went to this roller coaster when it came (I go to kings dominion with my family all the time) and when it goes up it is so loud but it’s fun trust me even saw when they were building it but if you never been to Kings dominion I recommend you to go and get on this☺️

This coaster is made By a fairly newer company called Rocky Mountain Construction. They have an excellent lap bar system that holds you down by the legs which gives you a more open and free feelings. I've rode many of their coasters and I can assure you they are very safe rides. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

It may seem necessary, but trust me, over the shoulder restraints are completely pointless on almost all coasters, maybe an exception of 50-75

I’ll be in Dallas next week but SFOT is unfortunately closed the days I’m there changing my original plans. I might head to SFFT in San Antonio but that’s going to depend on he weather.

Yeah both are good parks. I do prefer SFFT a little more plus they are opening the new Wonder Woman coaster soon so it might be for the best if you go there actually.

AGV. Wow! I just did a you tube doubler with your POV and the POV animation released by the park. If you sync them up at the start of the barrel roll drop your actual ride seems to keep pace pretty well with the animation. Way faster than the POV I watched last night from media day. It must have warmed up for you. looks really fun. Nice work!

Reminds me of 2003, my wife and I stayed at the now defunct Sand Castle Suites at Cedar Point for our anniversary (and early entry for Top Thrill Dragster). We woke to snow flurries! Was wondering when that nor'easter hit the east coast if it would cause any postponement for opening day. I saw SFGAdventue had to postpone their opening because of it!

No need for shoulder restraints on this ride at all. You're locked down very well and shoulder restraints would kill the experience on this ride. Hell, Flight of Fear has 4 inversions and it too only has a lap bar.
