I think the 28 G3s would be a good look for you on the smaller gigs. That gig you just did would've been perfect for them. I have a pair and they blow ppl away with how good they sound. When I get the 44 G2s later this year, I'll use the 28 G3s for gigs of 100 ppl or less.
