Honestly Vil is one of the most underrated twst characters ever, som fans wrongly portray him as a harsh, greedy and selfish person, while in fact he is a strong person with an even stronger heart. He worked hard to reach where he is now, accepted to have his talent shallowed by playing the role of the villain over and over but all he cared for was keeping the show going until the very last second, that no matter the role, he always performed his best. We're all proud so of the person he grew up to be, Happy birthday to our Queen🥺💙💜👑

Just let me sum up a bunch of stuff about how chapter 5 kind of ruined Vil's picture by accident, just to clarify the matter 😅: Chapter 5 went a little off track and accidentally led to ruining Vil's reputation BUT, the main reason why that happened was about Vil's relationship with Epel in the very first episodes, not mainly the vdc and the drama we got to face after the end of chapter 5. There were several scenes between them which led to the fans misunderstanding the situation; including the times Vil slapped Epel/almost crashed his head between his hands, and being overly strict with him. Technically, Vil was just doing what any professional coach would do, his strictness might've been a little too much, but that's also something quite usual to see among normal coaches especially the professionals, Vil was preparing Epel for the best but, the way it was pictured made some fans mistake it as a sort of 'bullying' and 'harassment'. In a discussion, someone mentioned that Vil reminds them of their childhood traumas and how they used to be harassed and bullied as a kid, so as you can see the way Vil was pictured in chapter 5 indirectly caused some fans to get some sort of a negative perspective toward him. So technically,,, it was more of a misunderstanding. Vil is a pretty well-written character, yet the way he got presented through the story didn't do his true personality justice.

@Yuuka Miyamoto I agree! Sadly that's what a huge majority of fans fail to see. You know Epel had always had a positive reputation among the twst community, so like everyone more often define him as innocent or a little strong boy wanting to become a great magician, in summary you can tell almost everyone has got a positive opinion about him. So when Vil, a character who had also been previously mistakenly expected to be a selfish and somehow horrible individual like Evil Queen, opposed Epel everyone went: "See!? Vil IS a disgusting and horrible person!" meanwhile totally ignoring Epel's mistakes, especially his lowkey sexist tendencies and words. Not that I'm taking all the blame on Epel becuase being miss gendered all over his life it's understandable to see him grow to have a negative perspective toward femininity, and although that's certainly wrong, I must say it's understandable. What Epel needed was someone like Vil to stand against him to tell him where he was wrong and change those inappropriate manners, even in Epel's ssr we saw how Vil indirectly led him to the correct path and helped him take a role as an actor. The thing is Vil always does the thing which he, as the leader believe is the first, doesn't matter whether people like him or not, he just does what is right and best to be done; this perfectly resembles his backstory as he always performed his best although he always took the role of the villain. The funny thing is even Epel now looks up to Vil as a strong individual and even an influencing role model, even though they still have lot of differences, meanwhile fans sre still too busy accusing Vil of being abusive rather than taking time to understand what exactly happened in chapter 5.

Ah I love Vil so much, he is just so driven, determined, and disciplined to reach his goals and better himself and those around him. It's nice to know even Vil had his pimple days, only he had the self control to stop his bad habits where a lot of us have trouble doing such things. It's cute how Rook gave Vil a book of poems he wrote about him for his birthday, and that Vil's Dad is so caring about his child even when busy. So glad they didn't make the Dad uncaring and only worried about working, they could've easily fallen into that troupe. ALL HAIL OUR QUEEN VIL! HAPPY BIRTHDAY~

I love how Vil appreciated and understood a crew's work when he joined the movie club. This birthday episode really opens a lot about Vil as a determined, discipline, mature, open-minded and driven person, and a little bit more about Rook as a creative, honest, poetic, loyal and supportive person. Chapter 5 sort of created lots of misunderstanding and unwanted drama from the irrational and impulsive fans. It's great to know that Vil's father is noted to be a caring (and doting) father, because it is quite very common for "villains" to have the 'bad family' trope. Honestly, it's really refreshing for me to take a glimpse and deeply analyse and deduce the personality of all the Twisted Wonderland characters. Can't wait to see all the other characters birthday episode.

@Yuuka Miyamoto that doesn’t answer my question though. Also, (to me at least) Yuu has been given some characterization and vague physical descriptions. Through Yuu’s own dialogue or how other characters express thoughts about them. An example would be in the video, where Yuu showed facial interest in the theater club, and showed mild interest in dialogue, that definitely isn’t something everyone would show interest in doing. I understand that Yuu is meant to represent the player, however the outline of a character that Yuu seems to be in the game has led me to consider them to be their own separate entity.
