Loved the movie my only gripe and minor spoiler The twisters in it didn’t feel as much of a character as the original. If that makes sense. In the original the twisters definitely seem like an actual monster chasing them and their loved ones. I think it was the sound of the twisters and who the twisters were hurting made it feel that way. Still, as a kid that loved the first one I was really happy about this one

Finally a review how I felt..after seen it last night.. I was blown away....it's like you said it takes references from Twister which don't get me wrong it's my all time favorite movie ..have seen it over 100 times and still don't get sick of it.takes it updated it..in a newer version....but this was everything.... period 💯💯💯🎤🎤...it's a well deserved sequal...not to mention..the cgi now... chefs kiss👌👌...it's Soo good im going again in 2 weeks with my friend..it's that damn good 🎤🎤🔥🔥🔥

Twisters pales in comparison to the original Twister. Outside of the tornado effects, the writing and directing in Twisters in subpar, and the acting is mediocre. I'll have to watch the original Twister again, just to erase the experience of Twisters.
