Twisty Roads on V4 | Honda VFR 800

This has to be the best Gen 8 piece of film on the internet - great sound, great footage and when Jan Hammer breaks it perfectly sums up the joy of being out there in the moment. I picked up a lovely VFR 3 months ago, complete with (an essential) SC exhaust, as I fancied a trade up from my Vespa 125 before I hit 50 yrs of age. I've always been obsessed with cars but never had the money to splash on a Ferrari or Porsche but now I have a VFR and living in London, I'd take 2 wheels every day. I just need to track down those lovely empty roads you're riding on....

Oh my goodness! Can't believe I stumbled on to THE single best and most joyful and excilerating bike vids, not to mention VFR800 dedicated vid, that I've seen to date. An absolutely stunning video, thank you! I purchased a 2014 in Victory Red last October as my first bike and couldn't be more hyped for next season, until I found your video that is. So far I've put about 600 kms on it and loved every second of it. (No spirited riding yet of course, since I have next to no experience and plan on taking my time with this whole new experience). I literally couldn't be happier, the bike feels every little bit of what I imagined motorcycling to be like.

Nice Video! I bought a brand new 2015 Deluxe out of the crate in 2018 for $6950 USD and the first thing I did is replaced the stock muffler with a SC Project Conic slip-on. I am a Yoshimura fan as well but they did not have a slip on available at the time. I am really pleased with the Italian pipe on my Japanese bike. :) I love BIG RED, kind of fat, kind of slow but what a joy to ride! Love that V4

The newer VFRs sound so nice. My '99-Model sounds like a sewing machine with borderline syndrome. Taking the snorkel off gave the sound a bit more "bite" when I push her hard, but still a far cry from yours...

Great video. You should do the same scenary with other generations of VFR like the unique 5th Gen (1998-2001) with its inimitable sound with gears distribution. Just an idea to content passionates of V4 😉 By the way since KZbin is international, you forgot to mention the country at the end about locations. Is it in Hungary or Czek Republic ? ✌️😎
