Not gonna be dishonest, I was perturbed when you didn't continue Hoverbat's NG+ on the LP Channel but grateful that you ARE committing to it just at an ever so slightly different format/medium and metered length. I have been awake 29 hours at this stage and due to not (now am) subbed to your Twitch Archive Channel here on YT so I may have to reserve some of this initial 4+ hour VOD at a point to get some needed sleep, either way I view it as a win-win.

23:15 I think it was a range of things, with the Spaceworld demo definitely being one of them. Probably a bigger factor, though, was that Link's appearances in fighting games between MM and WW were universally realistically-designed. I think those games had more eyes on them by the general public than the Spaceworld tech demo did. However, Zelda's whole history, while it flirted with the big-headed art style in the games themselves, had only really used it five times up to that point, and in only one of those times (Zelda 1) did the official artwork and advertisements confirm what was being shown on the screen as a reflection of what Link really looked like, rather than just a simplification due to the graphical limitations of the top-down perspective. Even in the earliest days of Zelda, there were licensed works like the Zelda animated cartoons from the Super Mario Bros Super Show and his appearances on Captain N that depicted Link without using a chibi art style. So this artistic conflict between multiple art styles has been part of the Zelda franchise since the start. It only became a big issue for Nintendo with Wind Waker-to-Twilight Princess, because by then, it was obvious they *could* do a more heroic-looking Link if they wanted to. They scrambled to give people that, and by the time they delivered on what people had been expecting, gamers already had their hands on Shadow of the Colossus and God of War. So, the same reason Palworld ate a bunch of Pokemon's lunch.

I love all the differences in New Game+ as well like the Boss Rooms being harder like the projectiles starting the game on NG+ mode without the level ups would be a challenge lol

For the record, and I'm not sure if you will actually read this-or if it would really matter. I appreciated all the work you did for now in the 90s. It was an enjoyable time every time I saw a new video. To find out new games I may have missed growing up, or great reminders of past memories I had. During a time of genesis vs nintendo, when we all had to choose sides or perish in the great war that followed - it was easy to lose out on some amazing pieces of art. You allowed me to discover some amazing memories and make new ones. I'm sorry it couldn't be made profitable. I hope you understand at least from this point of view none of you did anything wrong with presentation or education in the videos. Everything I felt you could have done to make excellent media was performed. I wish your next endeavors and ideas are more profitable. Remember one of the highest selling games of all times was 50 cent bulletproof blood in the sand. So the general public's taste is absolute trash.

I know this is late, but the rock circle puzzle can't be brute forced. I had 6 of the 7 clues, so went and tried to brute force it, because than it could only be one of two combinations right? Game said no. The answer doesn't lock in, until all the wise men are visited.

More old games is for sure appreciated, Disgaea i found a lot of fun but it's not a good game for streams/playthroughs as it's just really long and most of it can be considered grinding, either for levels, gear, gear levels (item world to boost stats on it) etc. The ds Castlevania i would happily watch, Portrait of ruin is good (had it bugged out on me so couldn't complete the gear list, main sidequest stopped working) but Order of ecclesia is great, much recommended. FFT2A a grimoire of the rift i really liked as well, could never finish it as you need the shoulder buttons to switch characters and my ds always crapped out on those before anything else (on both of the ones i had), also caused problems with castlevania. So if you ever do a series on that one i can finally see the story to it's end :D
