One of my favourite things about Gears 2 is you can tell EVERY aspect of the game was something where they were like "we need to outdo the first game". Driving sequences, more explosions, bigger areas. God I love Gears 2. Making me miss Horde mode on that E-Day map.

Playing gears of war 4 with my brothers and cousins was amazing, there was 8 of us and we all played the campaign in two different sessions, then after we beat it in one night we jumped into the multiplayer and had so much fun in it all weekend. Can’t wait for your playthrough

I know people are upset that ray & Andy are talking over through cut scene and not paying attention to the small talks but here's the thing, this isn't a blind play through just 2 bros having a boys night another thing is their subtitles for us to read so if you really wanna remember how this game goes you can read the subtitles I was reading the moments of ben Carmine parts. You can also go find a youtube video with no talking at all I'm sure someone uploaded an entire 11 hour gameplay of this with no talking. Also it's not like Andy & ray aren't missing the iconic moments of this game which I generally appreciate. Gears of war is a very dark game, so they gotta make this entertaining somehow. Just appreciate that we get to see these vods and enjoy this long journey with the boys I know the series might end on 3 but I really hope ray & Andy play 4 & 5 and judgement I know they can play 3 people in 5 but the 3rd person gets to play as the bot I don't remember in 4 since their is the character named del but idk if you get to play as him. Can't wait for the highlights of these games and gears 3 ray thanks for all the hard work light, glasses & Jamie for the subtitles 😊

No, bc I completely get Andy about bone-in vs. boneless wings. Boneless wings aren't wing meat, they use the breast. And maybe it is similar but I also grew up with wings and bbqs a lot and wing meat just hits different. I find the extra effort to be completely worth it.

Playing this with my older brother is a core memory because I could play on easy while he'd be on insane. One of the first co-op games I didn't feel like a burden. Also telling our mum the blood was jello

The "phantom grubs" that Andy isn't seeing on his screen don't seem to be shooting, just running around and pointing their guns. Makes me wonder if they pad the enemy count in this area with dummy enemies that don't use the same processing as the real ones.

Yeah, the little ones don't do any damage with the basic guns, so they're just there for visuals.

I'd absolutely love to see the group in 3 play the Locust mode where you play AS the Locust trying to kill everything. Definitely the chaos that'd fit. Or at the very least try to get up the Raam DLC they added in.

@@PotatoIsNotCute Playing as the villains is peak game design. Lord of the Rings Conquest, Force Unleashed, Beast mode, all of it was so horrible to imagine happening to the heroes but UNBELIEVABLY fun.

On the subject of 'Damn pay attention to the lore' I was huge into Gears of War when the series was just coming out. I played all the games multiple times. I read the books, studied every bit of information that there was. With this immense knowledge I can safely say: Don't bother. The story is dumb and mostly made up on the fly anyway. It's like Resident Evil; if you pay too close attention then you're going to enjoy it less.
