I've been watching Ray for 8 years; this is the first time I've seen Save Slot 1 be used.

It's happened a few times. Some games forced a save slot 1. Ray also does his test runs on slot 1, but sometimes he continues it from there as opposed to starting a new one.

Honestly it looks fine on Switch from what I've seen. I'l definently play that version when I get the chance. Honestly I was expecting worst like the new TMNT game on the Switch (the one based on the Mutant Mayhem movie. its MEH on Switch (Nikodireko looks way better than that) but WAY better on other platforms.) Then again I'm of the opinion that doesn't have an issue with performance on the Switch like others do and want to play a game for fun.

People allways like to throw activision under the bus and 99% of the time they are right but when the devs change the artstyle whitout notifying expecting fans or even giving an explanation it makes why they put out on their official social media account and in an interview from the studio head those who dont like it are just haters and word by word from Paul yang we know whats best for crash
