What a underrated band man , this band is huge in Europe and is so sad that is not more popular on the world.
@Ounouh2 жыл бұрын
Because music is industry and industry defends it areas. That's why it's hard to break in new areas. Well luckily the internet is making it easier, but during the only radio plays, there were serious deals and being in global record labels you had a chance to be heard on other continents.

Poets of the fall are incredible! they have recently released over the past year acoustic session songs on their offical page, highly recommend checking them out!

as an addict that is 14 months almost 15 months now in recovery.. I've been listening to these guys since their first single came out which I believe was late goodbye back in maybe 2001 or somewhere in that general area.. and I got to say having gone into recovery this music now... I mean it always spoke to me but now it's a huge part in my recovery. Just went through a couple months of hell with somebody and I showed her or rather I introduced her to the post to fall and within seconds that girl was in tears but they weren't sad tears. I don't want to start rambling because I haven't had to do in that but other words would be a much darker place without poets of the fall. Music is life.

Great reaction!! This band doesn't get enough attention. They don't do anything crazy, they just do what they do VERY WELL! I think it may have been mentioned but during Covid this year they've put out an acoustic/stripped down version of one of their songs per month. Some feature just one guitar, some just a piano, some 2 acoustic guitars and a stand-up bass, etc. They are all great! Within this series (the Alexander Theatre Sessions - in a cool historic theater). I would suggest False Kings, Jealous Gods, War, Lift, Angel, and more! Maybe find an official or live video to compare the differences to the acoustic version. Thanks!!

I second this, the Alexander theatre sessions are excellent and his voice is really showcased in those songs since they are acoustic and more simple (but just as beautiful).

That intro on his chesty voice, isn't evn part of the actual song, which makes it even epic

Visited their concert 3 times in the Netherlands, they're so good! One of those bands who are better live compared to the record version. Also the band members and Marko are so likeable and nice:) Nice reaction by the way! My favorite song is War. (or maybe Daze)

I came by this song by mistake on Spotify (was trying to find an old song but saw this and thought I’d give it a chance and I don’t regret anything, this is my new favourite song)

Hi. Love his baritone. Another great singer from Finland you should check would be Tarja Turunen with Phantom of the opera during the Nightwish- era and on her own singing Supremacy (Muse cover) in Woodstock 2016. Here are the links: phantom of the opera kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn2VZqWYo9uAatE supremacy kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2bddpVrrauff6c Stay safe.

Love watching people discover and appreciate PotF. They are so so good, I love their vibe. However that's the first time I've ever heard someone likening them to Nu Metal? What? Their vibe is so mellow, warm and cozy, and their lyrics are poetic (ah!) and full of emotions... And I quite like Nu Metal, but PotF definitely are not that, not to me anyways. If you're ever interested in doing another reaction, they did some studio sessions on Genelec channel, all very good, and my personal favorite is Children of the Sun.Cheers!

Was thinking about some singers that would be worth reacting to you for a vocal coach and here are some suggestions if you do not already know about them. Within Temptation - Somewhere from the Black Symphony show Delain - Masters Of Destiny Official video Queensryche - Take Hold Of The Flame & Queen Of The Reich Live in Tokyo Pearl Jam - Black (MTV Unplugged) Alter Bridge - Words Darker Than Their Wings Live At The Royal Albert Hall (OFFICIAL VIDEO) Unleash The Archers - Tonight We Ride Official Video HellHeart - A Decade in Disaster Official Video Faouzia - Tears Of Gold Stripped & any of the other Stripped version of her original songs after that Lara Fabian - Je Suis Malade from her From Lara With Love show & after that Adagio, You're Not From Here, Caruso & Broken Vow Park Ki Young - Yeonan Pier from Immortal Songs and Spring Rain & Nella Fantasia after that So Hyang - Arirang Alone from Immortal Songs Dimash - Any song from live performances, but would ask his fans for which one has better audio

'Poets of fall - Daze' will drop you. It's all about completely pure high register falsetto that lasts for several minutes 🤯. Too bad I can't find LIVE version of that song 😟.

Did yall notice he shaves his armpits? Is that a thing now days? I mean....i know swimmers do. That distracted me.
@Ounouh2 жыл бұрын
He's a Finn like me and I'm 40 and had not heard about that until recently that grown ass men (straight) shave their armpits. It seems to be more South Finland capital area that has the trend. So it's a thing but at the same time it's not widely known "thing" even in Finland. Maybe the capital area is picked some European trend, but I have no idea where men do that. Maybe in South Europe?
@melekeen2 жыл бұрын
Not a thing here. I live in south Finland and have never met a man that shabed his armpits. I was a massage therapist too, so saw quite a few armpits 😂 Not a thing. Must be his personal preference.
