Jeff Buckley is amazing indeed. Also love his performance of Hallelujah from the same show I believe.

Hell yeah! I'll have to check it out. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment! I hope you have a great week!

Hallelujah is so overplayed. For a slow song I much prefer "Lover, You Should've Come Over" instead. And ofc "Dream Brother", it is amazing.

@@DeeDee80 Lover is also overplayed, with respect to song reactions, at least.

I read he wasn’t in top shape for this show and his voice was suffering, he had to back out of his mind-blowing final long hold note, he went into it late and it was strained. The NPA performance is him in peak condition absolutely casting a spell.

He was also playing guitar dude. That is pure talent and skill.

Such a gorgeous and unique vocal talent, and such a loss to the music industry

Should have reacted to the BBC Late Show or NPA version of Grace; they’re much better, musically and vocally. Jeff’s voice cracks terribly in the crescendo, in this video.

I was just gonna say that, it's a pitty, but this isn't really a good live version of Grace, I would have chosen another one (NPA or BBC as you say), where Jeff and the rest of the band really shine
@Problembeing3 жыл бұрын
YES! I think the NPA live performance has the slight edge over the BBC one, but they’re both phenomenal.

Dude! Thank you! Loved this guy forever. Have been listening to reactions now, from material 20+ years ago. Your reaction was more appropriate, appreciative and explanative than the criticism or the articulation, thanks; because you already know NO ONE CAN TEACH THAT. It is just genetics (have them learn biology! :) ) Tell your students to be their own JBs..... I am sure you already do. Great job of a watch and reaction!

When i was a kid I read that Jeff's vocal range was 5 octaves. I dunno if that was true, I really need an expert's info on that. It really stick to me until now. Well, he did sang Dido's lament though so 🤷
