I really like how they semi-reimagined how the fairies interact with other characters. Cosmo and Wanda living as humans in an apartment building is such a creative shake up to the formula.

That reboot you’re thinking of was probably season 10 of the original show where they tried to revive it with their third new character edition, Chloe. It was not received well and the show promptly died in that season overtime.

Cosmos voice has gotten higher after many seasons of the original show. I liked it better in the first couple ones. But I got used to the current voice. It’s not bad.

I haven’t seen the show itself but it looks really good from all the clips I’ve seen especially how they treated returning characters. One in particular who actually plays a role in the story.

Apparently they make canon the Ending from Channel Chasers, and it looks like they didn't take everything from the lastest seasons from the old show, Poof is canon, but it looks like Sparky doesn't, and it looks like the secret wish never happened for this show

Yes, there was another reboot that was horrible, fairly odder, difference is butch hartman was involved with the production of that show, while with a new wish, butch is thrown to the sidelines, and the quality of the writing alone has significantly been helped by not being touched by that man

Unexpected! I’ve been watching these episodes they’re really fun, Hazel is cute. It’s a sequel, not a reboot Scoot and that one with the other girl was from a later season of the og show, people didn’t like it. First impression I didn’t like the art style but it grew on me a lot, I like it and the intro slaps. Liked 👍🏽, I want you to react to more.
