Please try and publish your critique of the congressional report on some major mainstream media.

How can a congressional report get things wrong? Because the members don't want facts, they want political points. They are willing to lie. When one has been told facts and willingly say something different that statement is a lie.

Despite being a complete layperson I've learned so much from all of you. Hopefully some general points have stuck. I've tried to communicate them with well known people like Prof Tim Spector who was spreading false info about the 'lab leak' theory. Huge thanks to you all. Such an interesting episode and picks!

I really appreciated the discussion about protective immunity, as well as the listing of relevant episodes in the show notes. The confusion and folklore surrounding this subject is absolutely monumental. (And speaking of folklore, I also appreciated the debunking of the toilet seat myth.)

In the veterinary world and amongst farmers is much more knowledge about immunity than in the human medical world, for some reason or another, I guess that publications and universities are rather managed by pharmaceutical industry.

I think it is a very good point that a virologist is not part of the process and of course you would expect at least at a minimum for a report based on a virus based infectious disease it would include at least one virologist.

Professor, I am following you because I am very interested in virology. In fact, since my childhood. I have a bachelor's degree in cellular and molecular biotechnology. Professor, I want to progress in the field of virology to the extent that I am beyond everyone, but I do not have the conditions for the IELTS exam, I understand many things about biology, and my mind and heart are beating when I read a book about it. But IELTS?? My God, what can i do

Right? That video was amazing! I love Mark Rober's package thief videos and his squirrel obstacle course videos, but this one with the crow might be my favorite... but I also really love birds. ❤️

"Where'd you get your PhD?..." kinda summarizes why science has lost cred in popular culture. It is tone deaf about the basic insecurity that motivates folks to disregard science stuff that takes more than a moment to get on board. Science has a PR problem, our new chief executive epitomizes this, we in science need to reconsider how we communicate. You need to take this seriously. Not be more serious. or more righteous, no matter how right. maybe one of the folks on your panel needs to be conversant with the research about communication. Don't blow me off. We need to be better, not more right.

Your arguments are losing your credibility, as there are factors of which you are apparently unaware.

Please do you own research/learn virology/learn public health, and don't just mimic the uneducated who speak "outside of their lane".
