@@groovegodstacks sick, yeah for intakes I would check out the AFe or VR intakes, they have an enclosed box connected to the front snorkles that blocks out all the heat, for exhaust I love the MBRP pro, no rasp but sounds way better, you could always add secondary downs if you want it louder, if you don’t mind rasp then go with Borla, it’s the loudest and sounds pretty good

Yeah the quality of the machining is great, they have some weight to them as well. I did the BOV “mod” but this sounds much better and is twice as loud

Stay away from the PRO series, these version 1’s were better. I would go with Tial or HKS, but even then I’ve had several complaints of leaks. Adding intakes make a pretty good sound tbh, i wouldn’t mess with them, save the boost

@@twn2rbo ok so stay away from the pros, I have the injen intakes but wanted the blow-off sound a little louder. I don't want to hinder the cars performance, you think the W1 will mess with the car?

@@elifuenmayor8359 it’s a risk, the install is very finicky and you have to really make sure that when you re use the oem gaskets that everything is seated properly. The design is a little on the poor side, there is no way to use a swivel socket with the angle of the bases, so you have to use the provided wrench which is a joke. It can be done, with lots of patience, just make sure you tighten them down in a start pattern and double check they are even. Some people just do the VTA mod, where you cap off the intakes and remove the hose off the oem diverter valve, but it’s not a huge differenc, I’d rather let the boost recirculate tbh.

Dude If you can fit in the Supra it’s a great buy, I wish I could. That B58 is an amazing engine. Same in the m340i which is tempting. The Stinger is an all around Best Buy in my opinion, cost of ownership, uniqueness, family friendly, AWD option and aftermarket mods are endless.

I would stay away from BOVs, intakes make pretty loud noise through the diverter values and no boost is wasted. If you must have BOVs, just really take your time on install and check often as they are prone to boost leaks and go with Tial or GFB. I think they make the best.

Going to order my Injen intake for my Stinger GT. I'm not planning to tune the turbo, so is there any benefit to installing these blowoff valves? Besides sounding freaking awesome.

Yes forsure! They release built up pressure in the intakes/turbo’s, basically releasing any over fill of pressure. Over time, your turbo’s get beat up by constant pressure that has nowhere else to go, so BOV’s help release that non-needed pressure. Don’t take my word for it 100% though, do some research for yourself but as far as my technical knowledge goes, BOV’s can only do your car a favor as long as they’re installed & tweaked correctly.

This is true, but more so when there is higher boost levels. I would order the intakes first, because you will hear the diverter valve blowing the excess pressure into the intake, and since there is an open cone filter, it will be loud. Putting these on won’t hurt anything or throw the ECU off making it run rich, so don’t worry about that. Check out one of my first KZbin vids when I installed the Injen intakes, they sound sick

Yes, because everything will be thrown off and you will get extra boost from those mods and when you floor it there is a high chance of over boosting, also you will get worse mpg without the tune. My first mod was intakes and I didn’t have any issues, but once I added the exhaust I over-boosted and went into limp mode several times, the JB4 fixed it and then it ran better than it did stock. Modern cars are like that

Man....I lost my Bluetooth connection to my JB4 it keeps giving me a error message saying device not detected and your location need to be set to on in settings for the android device..some shizz like that.. everything is in place I haven't removed anything. Don’t buy these. I had the premium ones on for 4 months, took it back to the dyno, shop ended up putting my stock ones back on because these add 1 valves leak. I was loosing all of my boost when they were tuning it. Owner of the shop told me these Vales arent worth 50 bucks, he was shocked when i told Him how much they’re selling them for AND when i told him the ones i had were the “premium” ones
