The first one could also be a drum style of floor fan thats missing it's wheels and base

This was a really great video. When i am walking around my neighborhood i find all kinds of fans even vintage fans and nine times out of ten they all still work. All they needed was some tender loving care. Please keep your videos coming.

The first one definitely looks like a drum fan that's missing a few parts. I think the blade is not original. Those drum fans usually run a lot slower than that. I have a 30" Dayton pedestal fan that's very similar to the second fan, but the motor is a lot more substantial. I can see why those burn out a lot, a little 1.6 amp motor isn't much for a 30" blade. It probably runs very hot, which could also explain why the bearings locked. Regardless, it's an awesome find for free. Very loud, but I've always liked the sound of those high speed blades cutting through the air.

Iactually still have the blade from one of those newer burnt out 30'' drum fans. I should throw it on the first fan in this video and see if the motor over amps. Yeah That motor on the second fan does look really puny on that big fan lol . It should hopefully work good for the shop! On low speed if it wasent making all the bearing noise I dont think it would be that noisy, as long as it moves enough air on low

I believe the motor on the first one is a 1/8 horse. I didnt know it had a sticker on it untill after the video. I'm pretty excited about the second one .I'v been after a large fan like this for the shop for a quite a while. but they are too expensive to buy new!
