The tire deflators are some of the best trail worthy items I have in cab at all times. I recently improved them by adding the SKOG Chuck Mates Speed Clips. The tire deflators get screwed on to these speed clips, and then you just need to push them onto the valve stem, let them do their thing, and then press the lever and pop them right off once your deflator has stopped airing down. Easy peasy!!!! Your video was right at the perfect time, as I am heading out to the SE Oregon desert near Hart Mountain starting next week for some personal time away from the masses and do some solo exploring without my trailer in tow this time. Should be an adventure!

Really enjoyed this, such stunning landscape! Is this the famous Oregon Trail many Pioneers took to the coast? Looks like it might be, if so that is where my great grandmother's family crossed by wagon as part of the Metz/Manley party, starting from Illinois in 1850. Her father was a wheelwright, mother was a midwife with natural medicine skills, crucial skills needed in that environment, unfortunately they still lost 3 young children on this long journey with my great grandmother being born on arrival in Gold country California. They were tough people for sure to endure something like that in horse and wagon, just incredible.Since this is a trip with a romantic twist.... my great grandfather made the journey too but later on the first train from New York alone at 14 to work in a gold mine, once the rail was completed in 1875, a child of Irish born parents who fled the famine. The two met on the railroad in central California when she was 19, he was a baggage man and she was a Hardy girl in a railroad hotel! Happy 25th!

❤❤ Was a thrill to meet you two at Mountain West. I absolutely relate to this video as I just did both the Wyoming BDR and part of the Colorado, solo. The WYBDR can get pretty remote and the worry starts to set in a bit. Out there 100% alone, maybe not seeing anyone for hours at a time. I often wished I had another vehicle or even a person with me. Being solo you tend to really miss so much of what's around you as your focus is all on just staying on the trail. But now that I'm home on the east coast, I can only think about getting out there again. It's almost hard for me to watch you guys out there. 😊❤

First, congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. May God Bless you with many more. Great video. The Epic "Empty Nest" Adventures look like fun. I love offloading in the "high desert". It's like noting else. The first time we went I found it a little unsettling (at first) when we didn't see another human for three days. But, as you mentioned, if you are prepared you can relax and take in the beauty and vastness this great country has to offer. And how critical it is to protect it. Pete Jr. has the perfect voice for narrating (nice touch). 😎🌻😎

We as you used to wander in our Jeep almost every weekend that the weather allowed. From Nevada we wandered into California, Utah, Arizona, and Colorado. We sure miss doing this, and we miss the southwests natural beauty, and most of all we miss the mountains of Colorado. Thank you again for sharing your love of exploring, Family, and Faith. Thanks for taking us on a tour of the vast high desert regions of Eastern Oregon. The geology there tells a silent story of the active vulcanism in the state, with dark basalt outcroppings, dry playas, grasslands and not a tree in sight. Wow! Hi Pete and Carol, that was a tremendous video, thank you for your "EFRT" (effort... ha ha)! Great overlanding video. Great gear reviews and scenic video. It was nice to find Pete Jr narrating. He, and you, did a great job. An overall solid production effort. Ideas for future videos... Take one or both Wranglers to a Jeep specialty shop (like TrailRecon did with his JK) and let them give it the once over and let us know how they are holding up after all of those miles.. you've likely put more overlanding miles on those JLU's than anyone out there... it would be very informative for the rest of us. They might have an explanation for the cracked frame sections in the back and what the load limits are on those JLU frames. Did anyone tell you that running the gas tank below a quarter will burn out your fuel pump more quickly as the gas is part of the cooling mechanism? And I've read multiple times that the Pentastar V6 has "dry heads" that cause them to fail between 100k - 150k miles because of the incremental continuous excessive wear from the dry starts. I've started putting Lucas Oil Treatment (the new Low Viscosity version) at each 5k mile oil change to keep the heads lubed to solve for those dry starts (we've been using the regular version for years to solve a problem with my wife's 2018 Lexus RX350 3.5L V6 that has a dry rear camshaft bearing design issue and it's been working great). Us Jeep-o-philes would probably enjoy more regular, honest reviews on the Jeeps, what's falling apart, what's working well, what you would or wouldn't get again, optimal tire sizes, if you think unlifted Wranglers could handle the terrain you go on, etc. Clearly you have to support your sponsors but you could point out what gear is sponsored so we'll understand. For gear reviews, what you're still using, what you don't use anymore, etc. Totally agree that the boys would have loved being on that trip with their bikes. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures.

Watched this video and at the end dropping into Lakeview I've been down that road many times. In snow and in the dark.

Well I’m sad we missed you we were just there the weekend of September 15th. How cool would that been running into you folks. I’m glad we didn’t take that rocky back country. We are definitely not that experienced. Glad y’all made it to pave safe. Welcome to Oregon.

We really love your videos, but I wish you would lift up your trailer power wire so it doesn't drag on the ground. ❤
