Toady Home. Two way street for sure. Companies could have fought harder to stay. Government could have done better. As far as leaving with the money, what fuckwit wrote the contract. "To be paid back in full or forfeit the license to sell any product in Australia" not hard to work out. Government should have atleast seized all assetts. So i still put most of the blame on the government.

Would a v8 au be any good for this, or would the 8cyl be too front heavy?... Maybe a barra swap would be the way to go?
@danielbrealey29245 жыл бұрын
AU Falcons had the 302 Windsor- it's a bloody good engine with very good aftermarket support. I'd prefer to build an AU's Windsor that the BA's Modular motor V8. A windsor with a little bit of bolt-on's would be really good for the application. Would sound so much better than an AU's SOHC motor or a Barra. If you had a bit more cash, a 347 or 363 stroker kit with good comp, a set of cheap TrickFlow heads from Summit Racing and a good inlet manifold, good cam/valve springs and a set of headers would easily make 500hp and lots of torque to keep those tyres spinning! 😌

Anyone know what these guys are doing for suspension? Real racing coilovers etc or some backyard dodge job? They sit amazingly flat through the turns which makes me think they’re just sitting on bump stops but then you can still see the wheels absorbing some bumps at least. Wouldn’t be easy getting zero roll out of one of these with functioning suspension
@danielbrealey29245 жыл бұрын
True. Maybe they have drain pipe sized sway bars! 😅
@danielbrealey29245 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I agree. I'd love to know more about them too. They're doing very well with what limited power they have too. Like to see them on a slightly quicker track with some 3rd gear corners- I wonder if they would have the power to hold a long 3rd gear drift...
@garethcurtis75455 жыл бұрын
The AU base model was known for having ferrari like handling and zero body roll, true fact at the AUs top speed of 340kmh (only limited by gearing) you can throw it sideways and control it with one hand. #falconyeah
