Brother, I totally love your shelter. Folks don't understand the high winds you likely experience. They fail to realize that a tent left out there will be shreds in a few months. You can stash supplies in that and come back in 6 months. I grew up in a similar terrain. I had a 45 gallon trash can with a lid 1/3 burried and camo painted. I had everything I needed. Americans usually are weekend survivalist ( maybe a week) and they dont return to the same site. That is likely close to your home. It is your " get- away". Be safe. This reminds me of a hide out I had on a very high canyon cliff on the ranch where I grew up. It was home. Very cool.

This has to be the dumbest "shelter" I have ever seen built. None of it makes any sense. Location, materials, design etc. You would be better off just sleeping beneath the tree that was in the background..... Waste of 26 minutes...

Because if a guy leaves a tent out for a few months it will be shreds. I grew up out in a similar looking place 3600 ft above sea level out on a ranch . Very high winds and the wind will wreck a tent in a few months. This guys shelter will last a good while.
