They probably have like... intense training regiments and all that for these sorts of encounters. I'd always imagined everything was the same old same old for them UNTIL they went to africa for this mission, then they got blind sided by uroburos. Same for RE6, everything's fine till fake ada hits'm with the C-Virus.

The one thing I’ve noticed about RE5 is that the game has actual real-world weapons in it, like the H&K MP5, the Desert Eagle, Sig P226, and the M9 Beretta. While in other RE games, they’re mostly fictional like the Blacktail, Matilda, Samurai Edge, and the Riot Gun, the Albert. I wonder why it’s only RE5 that does this.

Believe it or not, real world gun names are apparently copy written. That's why golden eye and other games usually make up fake names too. They probably chose to license the names of the guns for this one to fit the military style theme, then said F it for the following games.

The current [Crazy Talk] tally: 1. When asked if the PC version even has coop, Pat says "Yeah, I played it! I did, I did play it in coop!" 2. The mob of enemies that Pat says gives you nothing not only gives you something, it is in fact a unique treasure you cannot get anywhere else in the game. 3. Says everything in the environment can be slashed for ammo. Immediately attempts to slash an indestructible object that gives nothing. 4. Pat attempts to explain his strategy for avoiding damage from enemies that drop from the ceiling in the house, only to eat shit before he even finishes explaining. 5. Pat tells Matt that he has to come with to trigger the boss fight, then proceeds to trigger it without Matt. 6. Pat claims that dogs always hit him. Seconds later a dog is killed by friendly fire from a Molotov throwing majini without even having a chance to hit Pat. Anything else so far? I'll post these when I start an episode and add as occurrences of [Crazy Talk] activate.

It's not so much that the other BSAA operatives suck, it's that in universe Chris and the rest of the RE main characters are absurdly good at this. Since they never get infected, the canon implication is that they didn't get hit once during their first zombie outbreaks. In other words, they did no hit blind playthroughs on their first try, which is a lot more than can be said about 99.99% of the players controlling them. The rest of the BSAA is like us, mediocre.

I wouldn't say the only competent people, more so the extremely lucky ones in BSAA as with out the furnace room they would have died to the goop monster like the rest of the team that went in. There are other bosses as well that they get lucky fighting against such as the bat monster that attacks you conveniently in an area filled with trip mines, Irving who fights you while you are on a Gun boat and a giant flower monster that attacks you when you find an orbital laser canon on a shipping boat for some reason. Chris and Sheva are extremely under prepared just like every other soldier that took on this mission, they are just lucky enough to find exactly what they need to kill something when they need to kill it.

+FoB952 I think everyone _likes_ RE5. Like, nobody that I've ever talked to or heard will say otherwise. However, the problem comes when you compare it with RE4. It's just, not as good, and then there's a whole barrel of other issues if you think about the game for more than half a second. From a pure gameplay/co-op standpoint? Yeah, game's a lot of fun.

It's starting to irk me that Pat doesn't know the game's features. First, he could have just gave the weapon to Matt in game without having to quit to the main menu. Thats a core feature of RE5. Second, he could have simply used the Restart function, which brings you back to the current missions last save point, starting at the item management screen every time! So really you don't have to quit to the mission at all unless you actually wanted to stop playing. The entire campaign and the item management features can be used without quitting the game once!

ZhadoxFlamez Yes, but he and Matt have literally said several times they haven't played it in awhile, they only are remembering bits as they play more. So maybe Pat might recall, but even I didn't know about a few of those features myself.

ZhadoxFlamez That's ammo though or grenades too, you can always do that in game. In the original 360 version I know you couldn't trade weapons at all, unless they changed it now on the PS4 one?

Evan River I... don't believe that's ever been a restriction. What you can't do is give weapons between different accounts, but they are playing locally so they both share the same account inventory. They should be able to give weapons to each other on a whim.

ZhadoxFlamez That's what I was meaning, I tried giving someone a weapon with a different account before and didn't understand why it never worked cause it should have. They might just be using seperate accounts here too, not sure how anyone can tell whether or not they are.

Yes you can Infinitely dupe items by saving and reloading areas. I did this with the Egg and Rocket launcher farm in the Swamp. Run around, Farm up eggs, grab Launcher, Quit, Save, Sell Rocket and eggs, Rinse, Repeat.
