I mean, that's almost on point, what with him dropping a molotov at every few meters, a sunset some have called apocalyptic, the difficulty level may have been more manageable for you as a player so the flow/speed didn't grind to a halt, and, depending on what music shuffles into playing as you go, there's definitely tracks that fit that description.
