This is an incredibly strong One Bar Magicka Arcanist Solo build for the Necrom DLC. It uses Oakensoul, one bar, and only 2 buttons. It's capable of EASILY clearing Veteran Maelstrom Arena, Veteran Vateshran, and even some TRIAL bosses!

Also on the channel is other “Immortal” builds (which are builds that could solo the trial boss) some of them have a “preview” video just before the build video showing a bit of the fight. Hi TBR! You can just swap your attributes points/enchants from mag to stam and use any food you like. This was shown as mag just to give some diversity in builds. I'm currently leveling but I'll be doing a duel dagger Stam version of this build as a Woodelf, any tips would be appreciated. Also gonna use Azandar as a Buff/Healer since he can give you ANOTHER shield and see how that goes, if his sustain is good enough i may be able to work in more dps.

That sounds like a perfect set up! With just stam sustain food you wont even need sustain from anywhere else. I have been really liking using a Bow for all content. It's a bit less dps than 2x daggers, but its already so overtuned for damage, the utility from the bow really makes the class fun for me. Let me know how your set up works out for you!

Hi Nob! I don't remember the dps on the dummy for this one. This build was mainly tested in live content and less on the dummy. I THINK it was somewhere around 60-70k maybe? If you swap a few things around like food and mundus and what not. Hi Gracous! It really depends on the content and the player. Most modern relevant solo set ups are going to perform much higher than the content's ceiling (Infinite Archive aside), so much of it is personal preference/personal accommodation. For example: Will Nirn/Orders put out more damage allowing you to get through a mechanic quicker? Most likely. Will it save you from a death like Hexos would with shielding? Not at all. Hi DeHavilland! It would be completely fine. I actually did half of my testing on a Dark Elf. This build (mainly the class) is so over tuned for most content, there is enormous wiggle room in lots of areas. Don't hesitate to change stuff around for what is best for you!

Hi TBR! I answered for you on your other comment. Regarding medium armor: Since the armor passive rework a good while back, coupled with the hybridization in the game, armor weights provide a bit different value than the old way of light = mag/medium = stam. There several sliding scales in there between crit, crit damage, penetration, weapon/spell damage, and sustain that get shifted around depending on what you need/want. Hi Mario! It won't hurt you really for this set up, but it also doesn't help you. Vamp in PVE is usually a bad thing due to the hit you take on sustain. However, you have unlimited sustain with this set up. So other than taking a bit extra fire damage, you shouldn't really feel it at all.

Haha I feel you. To be honest, almost every time I am playing the Arcanist I am using something different lol. It's so versatile. I do know this: I prefer a bow on the front bar, runeblades for dungeons, and flail for solo. Bow + Runeblades + Reaving Blows CP is 🔥 and flail is just too nice for arenas.

Hi Andre! If you make sure your character has all the elements from the build, your stats should be relatively close to the same. There are some differences with Racial Passives, CP amount, and quality of gear/enchants, but generally speaking they should be somewhat in the same ballpark. Why mag over Stam?

Hi G! Both mag and stam work totally fine, it's not limited to one or the other at all. I played both mag and stam for this build and they both performed just as good. The reason this specific set up is using mag is to take advantage of the High Elf passives (which are mag orientated) and so that we can also have access to the 5% damage reduction buff from High Elf passives when using a channeled ability, which we will be doing most of the time with the Arcanist beam. Its just a tiny bit of survivability min/max if you want it. Also, I'd have to go look back over my notes, but If I remember right, you actually can get higher max resources as Mag with this set up due to slotting Inner Light. However, literally any race in the game and going stam or mag will work fine. The DPS version of this I made stam. (100k dps 1 bar build with no trial, arena, or mythic gear: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIG0e6SmfZiEoNk). So you can see the class is highly versatile!

Hi Velharth! Great question! We have several Arcanist builds on the website and we wanted to give players options depending on their interests and what not. www.thegameroom.tv/arcanist-builds At the beginning of this video (0:08) there is a clip from part of a trial boss solo I did. You can see my stamina stayed mostly full for the entire time. The total fight was around 8-10 minutes or so, and for the entire duration there wasn't any consistent sustain issues at all. Nor in any of the arenas or dungeon solo's that I ran through. That was enough confirmation for me to post it as it. When using the rotation properly of 3 flails and beam (or 2 flails + beam if using Treatise), and assuming the build is set up exactly like the video/website description, it should be impossible to run out of stam unless you are spamming flail significantly more than needed or dodge rolling very excessively. That said, I totally get how people's play styles and wants are very different. There is nothing wrong or limiting at all for this build if you just want to convert it to stam if that works better for you. It's definitely the superior option of the 2, although, when the mag version is played properly, it shouldn't limit anyone's experience. I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
