Could Matthew’s Murder Be Money Motivated? Lawyer Christopher Melcher is back to discuss: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYTIomOmjdV9ndE

I am sorry, I loved Matthew Perry. He will always be a part of the collective consciousness of probably everyone. His death was tragic because ultimately He decided to take a bunch of substances. Regardless of where they came from or who was selling, he decided to use. That isn’t anyone else’s fault.

I understand accountability in recovery. ~ But, I do think that there has to be something or a number of things combined happening at the same time that would lead to a relapse or, as you said, your choice in having a drink (and in all likelihood more than one). ~ For example, I quit smoking for 6 years. 1994 was the worst year of my life, even 30 years later. I would also caution anyone who thinks that retaining a lawyer, after being asked by the police to come in for some type of questioning, to be wrong. The first thing any citizen in the United States of America, should do if they are asked to come in for questioning is to contact an attorney to represent them. Some drugs are illegal. If you participate in supplying said drugs, You Broke the Law. In doing so someone lost their life. If I take a depressed person a stolen firearm, he/she uses it to murder others.. I'm probably going to be held accountable in some capacity. Addiction is not shameful. Shame is what keeps the addiction alive. It is what keeps the addict from seeking help. I also despise the term junkie. It is degrading to a person who already feels worthless. We can erase so many words from our language but junkie is ok? No, no it is not. Brooke is a hot mess. Charlie, same. Obviously Matthew had issues of his own. Removing addicts need to remove themselves from users lives. Crazy thing is all of these individuals are well over 40. When does a person say enough, I alone am responsible for getting clean. Robert Downey did it as have many others. Famous or not your 2 choices are get clean or die early.

Gotta stop blaming everybody but the addict. Addicts seek drugs and willingly purchase and use them. Nobody forces drugs on an addict. I know, I have been clean for four years. My family tried to blame everyone but me. I used drugs on my own, it started by being over medicated by my Doctors. They didn't force them down my throat. They did, however, refuse to help when I asked for it. They shut the door in my face. It's the lack of help that is the problem. The places out there to get help are unaffordable for most people and even the expensive help centers are horrible. They treat addicts like garbage and don't really do much to help. I had to save myself! Thank God I did!!

He was a grown man lying about being sober and an addict. The fact he was taking ketamine for depression is crazy. Where were his friends and family. There was also his sober coach who he apparently was violent with and his ex girlfriend. You can't help someone who refuses to be helped.
@benicio19673 ай бұрын
Thank you. I agree with everything you stated. No doubt they miss Matthew terribly but you can’t save someone from themselves. Do you think he wrote that book and it was so strange that he would’ve actually written that knowing he was still struggling and using when he wrote that book.
@SamanthaCalloway3 ай бұрын
This is such a gross opinion. You don't know any of this. And taking ketamine for depression means nothing. I don't believe he lied. I do however believe he really struggled with depression. Some things like Ketamine are easy to overdose on especially with health conditions prevalent. If he tried to get extra doses, he may have just really been struggling and it wasn't working good enough for him. I do think that the Ketamine and other script meds contributed to his heart giving out.

As an addict who’s in recovery, I have to say, Mathew made the decision to get high. Although, the people who made decisions to do illegal things to get the drugs to Mathew, should get some charge, but not murder. The doctor should loose, at least his licence to write prescriptions of any mind/mood altering drugs. Class whatever drugs I guess….

This is horrible to have lost Matthew Perry but sadly it was at his own hands and poor decisions. It was on the net today his estate was work 1.5 million aside from some trust but it was made to appear he had spent many riches from his million per episode "Friends" days. In the final analysis, Matt Perry will be seen as his own worst enemy with his addictions and blaming others will be seen as futile.

Ridiculous. MP was a drug addict. He told the medication willingly by his own hand. If the person who supplied the drugs then every overdose person must have a person who supplied them with the drugs be put on trial. The US Government must be put on trial for allowing illegal drugs pouring over our borders without any consequences or interference! I do not like Sheen but do not believe that he is responsible for MP taking the drugs WITH THE INTENT OF GETTING HIGH! Start applying the law to everyone not just individuals who may or may not have assisted in someone’s death whom everyone liked.
