Good alternative. Now, Drakkar noir currently you can get it from $15 to $30 dollars so the alternatives are an option only if you want to try them, but not because of the price anymore.

Man I feel old with D&G being vintage now :(. I had it in the late 90s/early 2000s. Great video and take on some of the classics and their alternatives.

Thanks for doing this channel friend. Love that you're passionate about the 70s,80s, 90s fragrances. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy the way I obsess about my colognes lol. Drakar spray and deodorant is an all time favorite as well as Polo Green. Hate they discontinued Avatar by Cody. Love this stuff and it was dirt cheap back in the day less than 30 bucks. Now it goes for 200-300 dollars.

Lomani is an incredible fragrance. Amazing every time of the year. Very sporty, clean, non complicated and manly. And with such price it's an amazing buy.

Glad to see the bottle made it to a video! English BLazer is great value for the money. Modern DN is just so painfully weak but English Blazer helps fill that gap between the modern DN and vintage by giving you better performance.

I love D&G Pour Homme and it's cheap enough not to need an alternative IMO. This one's maybe not an alternative, but the Intenso flanker (brown bottle) is also excellent. Very affordable and highly underrated

The france versión is excellent, I used a few days ago and is very powerfull on my skin. Also I have the germany version which more heavy in my opinion. The clone I used was Nike the perfume man which is pretty similar but only last max 4 hrs, but cheap like 9 dollars.

@@cerveshred I have an older french version aswell. I really like the scent but the performance is piss poor.. Cologne level i would say. I doubt the sticker version is that much more potent. A shame because imo it would be the best summer scent bar none.

Just try Al Haramain Sheikh edp for Drakkar Noir alternative. Not a 100% clone of the original, however it outperforms it with two days longevity and projection!

Interesting review Kelan. I literally just bought a small bottle of D&G Pour Homme. To me the new formula seems very Neroli heavy In the opening. The dry down is better for me. I have to say the performance seems very weak. It’s the same deal with modern Drakar Noire. I wish companies would charge more and make the fragrances richer. I would not re purchase Drakar Noire. However Lomani pour Homme is so cheap in the UK and smells almost identical to Drakar Noire. Lomani and One Man Show are my favourite pick ups from your old skool recommendations. one of my favourite channels on You Tube.

Walmart Claasic match version is the one I use when I want Drakkar vibe....and Lomani, Al rehab smells a bit off to me, too green maybe?

I was looking for that Gabrielli for the longest time outside of europe and ebay. Ended up just going for the real stuff. I have the french reform too and it does well enough on clothing in the drydown. In fact, I used to despise all the reforms until I stopped being such a bitch about it. 🤣 It's literally one scent in tens of thousands. I'll keep an eye out for English Blazer!

I bought the Nazareno Gabrielle hoping for a d&g pour homme and it smells closer to the reformulated d&g, mainly the French and German versions but doesn't have that baby soap scent, my only issue is the performance, absolutely terrible. I'm obsessed with the original, spent over $500 on vintage bottles which turned out to be disappointing, time was not kind to them, they only smelled ok, citruses were shot and the overall scent profile was dull, I've had to give up on it, as I also bought Alexandria fragrances Le Dolce Vita and O'boticareo Uomini which is good but smells like a reformulation version, seems no one can do it like the original 1994 except d&g, if anyone takes the time to read this be VERY careful purchasing a vintage d&g pour homme 94, if you remember the original dna it's less than 75% chance you'll find one in healthy condition, I have every single version and alternative (including 3 vintage bottles) and I had to give up, cost me overall about $800 🥴

Have to disagree as some clones vastly perform better then the original and also work quite well to the original at a cheaper price Lataffa Asad (clone of suavage elixir) and dossier’s version of creed aventus are amazing alternatives to the original, with the latter vastly better than aventus as the formula has been changed for some years now

If you know what to look for, are patient, plus a little luck, you can find vintage Drakkar for less than you paid for the English Blazer. The current form of DN smells ok but the older Cosmair versions are so much better. I think the older version go beyond just duration, they smell more manly. Bring on the banned oakmoss!

Le Males Grandfather maybe who just went to the barbershop and came with the shaving foam still on him....Cuba Gold and English Laundry SIGNATURE Smell like Le Male, but this scent is way too much spicy cinnamon barbershop foam and manliness that is possibly a greener apple version of Le Male's Drydown,if they were similar in that regard. Good Ol manly smell.

dolce and gabanna pour homme might just be the most repelling fragrance i ever tried. i dont know what it is it that doesnt work with me but it smells like plastic and its so off. i dont get why people like it at all. absolutely never tryin it again. shame cause i expected so much from it, and some of my fav scents are from D&G
