In this special episode of Two Clicks Out, Dave throws some aftermarket parts at a Suzuki GSX-R750 for our client Steve. Dave then sets Steve up at the track and heads out for a session to give Steve a few pointers.

Brother you should goto the people that make the rules for the race and incorporate your suspension tuning in the rules to guarantee a fair race for all I can't believe you're actually the first person to realize how important body weight is during a race on a vehicle that weighs maybe twice as much as the person I recognize your Genius just a shout out from Delaware

Dave Moss, I am in awe when I watch your videos. Do you ever have suspension seminars or anything like that? I've been street riding for years and have been to the track +/-10 times, and am only now really trying to understand suspension. I learn much more from hands on than I do a book however. But would be great to be able to ask you certain questions as they popped into my head. Please keep doing what you're doing, as it's very hard to find good, knowledgeable suspension guys!

Have you tried the DM Tuning App yet for Android and iOS? The App is free, there is a free section of content for you to experience podcast, video and text. Everything I know is being put into that App so this should give you all that you need. Let me know what you think of it please!

Hi, I am a new subscriber. 05:18 You say Steve should go: Brake, Gas(just to tense up the chain), Steer.... instead of Brake,Turn,Gas. Was Steve flipping the bike fast & relying too much on gas to settle the bike into lean? Was Steve's bike setup with a low trail? With a powerfull bike should i Brake, Gas(just to tense up the chain), Steer? Do you still have an android app ? Ty,Peter PS: thank you for making our lives safer!

Hi Peter. That tip was to stop Peter from spending so much time coasting doing nothing between braking and applying the throttle. It also permitted more stability with the chain tight as the bike was being driven and therefore tyre contact patch was enlarged. In doing so the radius was shorter through the corner. The add on effect was locking into reference points and doing controlled actions with intent vs feelings with timing. Standard motorcycle that I set his suspension to him. You choose your technique based on how you ride and what makes sense to you. Android App has been gone for a long time after 2 years of no users.
