It’s usually a sign of trauma and it can be quite debilitating to someone who has them. They can snag on material really easily, get banged on by objects or walls, etc. Your nails can be extremely sensitive and painful. It took me years to fix my one nail that grew lifted like that.

Nail growth that spoons out like that is usually from an iron deficiency, definitely worth getting some quick blood work done and taking supplements for. It'd probably help more than her nails too.

I wonder what a gel extension nail would look like grown out or how it would work with the nails that grow upward every time. I don’t feel like the gel x would feel much different than the poly gel. I love it so much and I also enjoy soaking them off fully every 3-4 weeks and getting a new full set put on. I think it helps the nails from becoming an odd shape. But that’s my opinion

@@disgustednoise.8134 no problem just like to help. We all have to start somewhere and at the beginning l would use cjp gripper glue,it's a great glue but you can't beat gel and the best l have tried out is the base gel,you always end up with more base than top gel anyway plus it's stickier so holds onto crystals so much better. Only problem is getting them off again, l grab the gel around the crystal that tends to cracking the gel and then pops off instead of just trying to pull the stones off its so much easier that way. Mind wear glasses too. If you do try it let me no if you can, would like to see if it works just as good. Check out ali express if you don't already it's great for cheap nail stuff,just mind read the information about what you are buying and read the comments /reviews so you know that the seller is trustworthy.
@disgustednoise.81344 жыл бұрын
@@patriciagallacher6741 For base gels do you also mean builder gels? I’ve got both of them but so far have only tried applying crystals with gel polishes and nail glue, they obviously didn’t stay on long. 😅 But when I’m gonna try this method you told me about I’ll certainly let you know, thank you so so much☺️
@patriciagallacher67414 жыл бұрын
@@disgustednoise.8134 believe it or not the base gel that you get in the sets with the base and top coat sets. Most people don't bother with the base coat that comes with sets,they only ever use the top coat but honestly try it. I think it works better as a base coat is totally different from a top coat, it's more stickier so that's probably why the crystals don't fall off. I bought a set from amazon it was the brand Purple Velvet and it was 20 gels with top and base,always ignored the base coat until I tried it instead of normal glue. Air drying glue always breaks down in time especially when water gets near it but with a gel base coat it doesn't break down in water,the ones you get in the bottles. Just search gel base coat and it will show you but if you need any help just let me know.

My question is this...why not cut her nails down and form the tips entirely as you would a bad nail biter? Does an artificial tip keep falling off her? Or is she strictly only wanting her natural nails.... it's a very interesting case...your designs for her are lovely though!
