Two Crows Play in Snow on Car - 972897

These two crows found themselves caught in a winter snow storm and took a short break to have some fun. After climbing on top of the roof of a car, they slid down the windshield and rolled in the snow.

They say playing/playfulness is a sign of high intelligence, especially in the aspect of social intelligence Corvids never cease to amaze me, like just think about it: They are literally doing what human children do on a snowy slope; slide/roll down, make snowballs, and move their bodies while laying down in it And this is a BIRD doing it Not only is it hella adorable, it's amazing to think that they hold enough intelligence to, without training, do something HUMANS do!

You seem to be underestimating a lot of animals. If there is intelligence, there is fun to be had. By the way, at the very start of the video it says in Russian "crows being high". If anything animals are having way more fun than humans, when we lead our lives in such a way that we start associating play, fun and relaxation with alcohol, meds and drugs.

There is nothing like a good snow day to have some fun! Plus it's a good way to get clean. At the beach in the summer I've watched them roll in the sand and make a loose sand pit and then set on a dead tree nearby and wait for bugs to fall in then swoop down for a nice snack.

Crows have been known to hop inside cars, start the engine and drive short distances down the road. They've also been known to pilot small aircraft after pecking their way into the cockpit.

Many crows play in the snow. I actually witnessed one in real life for the first time today. There was a crow on the neighbors roof rolling around and flapping it's wings, flinging snow around. It was super cute

Those are my trained crows. I let them out to clean off the car windows before I need to drive anywhere. At 1:18 you can hear me whistle for them to do the next car. I'm trying to work up a commercial window clearing service.

They definitely use water to clean themselves as well as dust baths and sand, and snow, but Corvids are very intelligent they’re cleaning themselves here, but playing as well, they use tools, and will also trade things for food, a guy in the UK set up a contraption that Crows could drop a bottle ring pull into and a nut would come out and the local Crows would do this loads, they love shiny things anyway. Playing and playfulness is a sign of higher intelligence.
