Nice pair That redwood looks nothibg like the redwood i have here at home, the grain is a deep maroon when oiled or polyeurathaned & pulp wood a mild red

They call this as old growth redwood and if I‘m remembering correctly this story behind the blocks the wood blocks were cut off an old door!

BEAUTIFUL! I love Puukko style knives. One thing I just can't make myself like are the little Girly Peter Pan sheaths of the original Puukko's! Just don't look right for a "MAN", more of a woman's style sheath! Ha! Just sayin! 😱😱

There are so many style Finnish traditional puukko sheaths. I can imagine what you mean by some of them. Think them as jewellary for people wearing as part of national costumes for special occasions. 😄
