@Dalene Colon what kind of person are you? She just GAVE BIRTH TO A HUMAN BEING. A human being she's responsible for, that's a whole ass job. I don't care if the husband has 4 jobs building bridges or whatever, giving birth is called labor for a reason. It is the height of disrespect to not lift a single finger to make things cleaner around the house for a woman recuperating from someone millions of women DIED from and a child that has no immune system to speak of. Also, KZbin is a job. You have to film and edit, is a full time job.

It was a two day cleaning not 3 hours cleaning. If her husband is working instead of helping at least she can clean with expensive products and live in a big house, that's a huge help. Also some women really enjoy cleaning, its a way of showing love to our family and there's is nothing wrong with that.

As a mom of 5, I get it. Legos-- get a sheet for kids to dump them on so cleanup is gathering corners and pour back into bin. My kids were responsible for keeping toys cleaned up at a young age. I asked nicely for help in cleaning up if they ignored request any toys left out, I quarantined for a week. They learned quickly. Congratulations on new addition

My daughter’s house looks like this. She has 2 young girls and works full time. Her husband died 3 years ago unexpectedly and it is hard for her. There’s always stuff going on that people don’t know that effects everything. Congrats on your new baby, so cute to see him with you when you clean. Stay healthy and enjoy your infant. This is so me, I’m crying while watching because I know exactly what that feeling is like, I too have three kids.. and some days or weeks I fall out of wanting to look after our four kids plus us two.. big family, with everything going on.. it’s hard like so hard to find the motivation. I finally got it because I was SICK of her waking me up at 3am to wash some dang dishes! My son gets the 6am treatment now, I tell him, if you value your sleep - get it done. I get home from work at 6am so I have nothing but time 😆

If you canr clean up you are grounded until you can do things without me asking or telling you period. There is no fight. Your house your rules. We would be miseriable together. No cable computers phones. no new clothes, no going out. Get my house clean and keep it that way thrn you can have fun. Put your doot sown. Mean what you say and stick to it. Congratulations! You're awesome for tackling this successfully. Here's a tip, i decluttered and kept minimal kids toys etc that way things couldn't pile up. Like you can store away half of there toys and rotate the other half each season. Like legos or building blocks, so you don't step on them or slide. Then I did the same for.linens and hid them from myself, I kept two.of everything, that way it prompted me to through a load in the wash.

Tip I learned through trial and error, with the smaller toys like the legos, put the basket down on its side and scoop in that way, helps it go so much faster🙂Great Job!

@@NaimahAltidore As someone who’s been there done that with four kids close together (and a caboose some years later), you need to tell family members and friends who mean well but are contributors that instead of spending that $20 on a new toy buy a savings bond instead. I felt so bad when my youngest child went into Target when she was 5 or 6 and was amazed there was a toy section. She had so many toys from her older sisters I never really bought her much. I didn’t spend as much time shopping with her either.

I'm 55 years old and my parents were old when they got me so my life and my children's lives were WAY different than yours. Never had food or drinks unless we were in a high chair , never had blankets in living room only on our beds, we put clothes straight in hampers shoes in our closets, no toys out of our rooms etc. Etc. My mom had it so much easier keeping house, I let my kids have toys in living room but we put them away before bed ,so I had a lot less cleaning too. 😊❣️❣️❣️❣️

I’d get rid of like 50% to 60% of their toys. Kids really don’t need that much! You could keeps some toys out and accessible and every few weeks you can rotate which toys are our for them to play with. That way it’s like they constantly have “new” toys to play with, without the extra clutter. Decluttering and just getting rid of unnecessary stuff, and properly storing things that aren’t used often but are still needed, will change your life and your cleaning routine! It will make everything easier to clean up in the long run! Good work, that was a big job to tackle!

I remember I used to pile things in the middle of the room just like that when my kids were small. I would flop down and sort into piles. My only regret is not teaching my kids to help clean and to pick up after themselves. Now they are a bunch of lazy bums when it comes to cleaning. I did them a disservice by not ingraining tidy habits in them.

@@lovelyek8187 exactly! I have four kids and we ALL work together to keep the home tidy. My hubby works full time but that doesn’t stop him from picking up his clothes and doing laundry. The kids are responsible to put away their toys before bedtime. Takes under 15min a night to tidy the house while my husband or me vacuum or load dishwasher. Team work 💪🏿

Congratulations on the new baby!! You did amazing and I wish I had the energy to do this lol a good way to keep a house clean with kids is making it fun for them to clean. Like a basketball hoop over a clothes basket and having fun labeled containers for everything will help as well. The easiest way to get a kid to clean is to convince them it is fun. Dance together while you mop the floors and have fun with it. Yes it can take a bit longer like this, but you aren’t doing it alone and it makes the kids proud of what they did

People become so wrapped up in what they would not do, de clutter, get rid of etc. you do not know her home, she should not have to declutter or get rid of to appease anyone. Organize and rotate the way you would like to and that works for you. You did a fantastic job! Having a baby, recovering sometimes you want something to do especially when you don’t want to sleep all day or your not tired knock it out the park you know.
