Was exhausted just watching this. Bless your dear heart. You have a beautiful home and you certainly work hard to maintain it, with that being said - I agree children are only little once but there are more than children living in the home. I truly believe that less is more. Everyone will thrive better in a less cluttered environment. Teaching clean-up and tidying skills are necessary.

Now THIS is motivational! 👍 I've got four kids (10, 6, 3 & 1) with my oldest two kiddos doing school from home the last 1½ years due to the Pandemic. My hubby works all the time and I'm outnumbered, so it's a serious struggle for me to keep up! In a lot of these cleaning videos KZbinrs only have to surface clean an already clean home, lol. Thank you for showing us realness. If you can do it, so can I. Thank you for motivating me to tackle my shit-show of a home tonight.

I love watching all different cleaning with me videos but I think with these cleaning marathon videos it's like clean a whole house. I feel like it's a lot of work. You may want to check your toothbrushes. If you keep them in a container like they are, they never get dry and could contain mold.

From a mother of 3 sons also - I remember my home being very similar , but unlike you I gave up for the most part - they are 19,17&13 now and all bar one are tidy boys - we discovered we had too many toys so we found toy rotations helped - put half the toys away and swap them around every 6months .

My mother used to rotate our toys so we had several toys to play with then would put those away and put some new or stored toys and games out. No way she’d sit down and sort so many toys. We’d start picking up and putting one game away before we started another. Such a waste of time for a busy mom to sort cards for 10 minutes! Definitely a child-focused home. But lovely when it is done.

@@meganlopez560 you don't have to explain anything to a toddler, which i define as about 2.5 years or younger. point to the toy and point to the basket and sit in a comfortable chair while they comply. if they don't, remove the toy, especially the ones with tiny parts. if they are too young to pick up, too young to play. they will still have fun with other toys.

I love those videos. I’m so glad we can watch them and I really am not judging at all but I always wonder how things get this messy? I know live as a mom is not easy at all!! And there simply is just not always time or energy to clean. But my mum has 5 kids. She had 4 kids under the age of 6 and our home never looked like that. My dad worked full time plus we had farm. So I just Wonder how some people can do it and some not. I also think it’s so important to teach kids to clean up (their toys) It helps so much!!

I dont know how old your kids are. But you should start to teach them at a young age to clean up after themselves. I started teaching mine at 4 years old.
