When we were there in 2013 I looked in vain for traditional music CD's and for original art. Perhaps it will come later. The traditional dances were there--there are groups keeping them alive. We saw them in Hakha at the Baptist headquarters and we thank them for that. At one time the traditional music was grounds for excommunication but thank goodness, they are valued now. Thousands of people are forced to flee their homes. It is winter now and the weather is cold there. They are living in the jungle without the shelter. There is no enough daily food supplies.
