Savannah seems like a sweet place with all that sugar. My daughters name is Savannah, so I am sure we will visit one day. Kevin I am like you, I hate seeing litter, especially on the beach and nature walks.

@@MathersOnTheMap If you can make it back in the future, come in March / April or October for the absolute best weather. The Spring will give you perfect temps with all of the flowers blooming, while the Fall will give you perfect temps and leaves changing. Safe travels!

Hi, we were in Savanah from Christmas til after New Year’s. We stayed in Pooler, but visited several times. Beautiful city!! It was fun watching your video and seeing the places we saw also. You did miss a good sweet spot though Marche de Macarons. So good!! We have a Travado van that we traveled around in over the summer, mostly on the weekends, which I was missing on our 14 hour drive to and from GA. 😊

Hi... if you want to see a very different type tree, Banyan tree..... go to the Edison Ford Winter Estates in Ft. Myers, Fl. at 2350 McGregor Blvd! It’s amazing and just a great photo option and for a fee you can walk the gardens. Then you are only a hop, skip and jump from the beautiful Sandy beaches at Ft Myers Beach.... many great restaurants on and off the beach! Wishing you more happy miles!!!

well that was great! I have all that on my bucket list. I have been telling my wife that we need a trip down that way to make summer a little longer, we are in the north east. I don't think that I have seen a taffy pulling machine sense I was a kid, every beach town had one. I'm looking forward to more of your videos. Stay safe!

@@MathersOnTheMap I live on Cape Cod now, I don't think that anyone on the Cape makes there own now taffy. I'll have to look this summer maybe the candy shop in Ptown. Thinks are just starting to open up for the summer today was in the 60's. We do surf here but the water can be pretty cold. Oh we do have home made Ice Cream and that's pretty good!
