So is this the 628DirtRooster channel, where hobby tree-keeping is a way of life? That was certainly some crazy looking comb - maybe a previous wax melt while it was unoccupied with no colony to keep the air-conditioning going.

Holy crap...most hives are so orderly and neat; those bees built their hive into the freaking Winchester House! It looked more like a modern art installation than a beehive; come to think of it, I liked it more than I do most modern art pieces~😂😂

That WAS a wr4eck and you can trim a bunch of trees in a little time. Then when you come with a chipper behind ye olde Roostermobile you can do some grinding. Dehydrated ain't a BIT of fun. And after you soak your face full just put in for a extra large HUGE bacon and shrimp sammich with a gallon of gravy to sop in. Tree trimmers wages is HIGH! GBWYall and still praying for Pop!

Hey Randy, I was wondering if it was the heat from the roof that caused the comb to melt and misshapen, and they just continued to build on it like it was?!? So very interesting to see! I figured out why I enjoy watching your channel, so very much, it’s like I’m working with my dad, which I was lucky enough to do for years. He would show me everything and explain as we went, just as you do. Of course, it was usually ME who didn’t most of the scut work! He taught me everything, from carpentry to plumbing and electrical. Today I can build my own house if need be. It just came to me today how similar you are. Great videos! ♥️from a fan.

Good one Dirt, enjoyed the show. 👍🐝 Looked like they were about to hand you a new one when you first opened the soffit, think you lucked out, course a lil extra smoke never hurts. Anyway, happy new year to you brother, hope y’all had a great Christmas too. ✌️🐝

What a crazy comb pattern! Never seen anything like that... My best guess, being that I am not a beekeeper at all, is that comb started out as "normal" stuff, and then the sun warmed it up later in the season, and then it got all weird, and they just went with it.
