Some of the comments are harsh .A lot of people expect actors actresses to be the characters they love on TV . Elaine has always been lovely to people . How would you like to be in your own private life and lots lots people constantly approach you etc daily . We all have off days . Wait until you meet Gregor Fisher aka Rab C Nesbitt . If you are expecting Rab C you are in for a huge shock . He is the perfect Gentleman . I have met him a few times via my job . He was very chatty & nice as himself . Nothing like the characters he has played . People need to remember its acting . Do you people think River City Lenny is a real gangster expect him to be a villain with a gun in his pocket that will sort all your neighbourhood issues out in an hour ? .
