Also loving morning coffee, cards and Cathy! You need to get the small magnet board with the fantastic magnets - I have found that by opening the card and using the magnets, there is no need for tape ! Just put a piece of Post-It tape on the fold and wash-la……no need for tape and it holds perfectly and when moving the magnets to continue blending, nothing moves. Before getting this magnetic board I used your fantastic idea of taping the inside so the card lays flat - with this board there is no need anymore to use tape. Hope you will be getting this board soon and play around with it! Received mine for Christmas from my “card mentor” and I’m so grateful I have it! Thank you so very much for your videos - you are such an inspiration to me and others! Hugs and Happy Spring to you!

Are the larger SSS pads also hybrid inks like the cubes? If so, I’m thinking you could go over the stencil with one of the glitter pens, like Wink of Stella or any one you have in your stash to elevate it to a translucent glitter background on cards you want that effect on. Or maybe you only want glitter effect on part of the dots, or part of the stripes. Either way, I bet it would be cute on the right card. I ordered those stencils and waiting for them to arrive. I like the mini slim size.
@czdesign3 жыл бұрын
Love that idea! I think the big pads are just dye ink!

Companies each set their own standard for slimline and mini slimline cards. It's a shame there isn't an industry standard. My preference is 6" x 3.5" for the mini slimline because so many paper/cardstock pads are 6" x 6", but I don't see that preventing me from using these stencils for that size.

Love the mini size, and REALLY love the “Happy Everything” sentiment die (so versatile). But no purple AND blue this time?!!...all kidding aside, why do you do two shades of red/pink and then don’t have room for purple? Could you explain the reasoning behind your thinking? Just curious. 🤗
@czdesign3 жыл бұрын
I think when I making a rainbow that I prefer to stay on the warmer side to keep it simpler. I have nothing against purple I promise!
@mariahunt77673 жыл бұрын
@@czdesign thank you for replying. I was just curious why 2 reds? But that makes perfect sense, warm colors are definitely more inviting in card making. Your projects are always beautiful and simple to follow.
