Bobby talking mathematics and hunting is the greatest things! a the most over looked thing about hunting!

Love the ditch idea never thought of that! New to hunting. Got my.first deer ever last year a nice 8 pointer. The area I hunt would be perfect for watching those ditches! Have a 10 on my cam I'd love to see in person! 🤣

Make sure you watch the full interview with Bobby that came out on Monday. His part two episode comes out next Monday where we dive into his ditch funnel strategy so don’t miss it!

The big woods are here in Harlan Ky where there’s endless cliffs, thick under brush, tons of Laurel bushes briars stinging nettle and just all unforgiving territory. Gotta put boots on ten times more ground.

Tell how I'm going to hunt 4 places at the same time. Did he mean where 4 trials come together? Guess I should have watched further. You guys are good.

I know some old timers that had alot of permission property from alot of local Farmers and would just drive around all morning and if a deer was in a property they could hunt they would get out and shoot it! Road hunting is very popular in the mountains!

I’m seeing more deer 🦌 on camera than any day or night this year as hurricane Helena heads toward North Ga. They must know something is coming 😮
@thesouthernoutdoorsmen4 ай бұрын
We had a guest in the past who talked about hunting right before and right after a hurricane hit. He said it was some of the best movement of the year. I can't remember which guest had said that unfortunately
Coulda been. Something tells me it was someone else. Also very well known.

@drdrum1000 I won't speculate too much but I'm guessing a certain individual that was caught baiting a bunch of booners and had several removed from the book is who he is speaking of. Edit to add... Bobby is awesome. I love his approach.

He is right and wrong. I have lived my deer hunting life by the percentage game. There are lots of little things you can do to increase your odds. If you are smart enough you can put yourself in the best position. If you are patient enough that positioning could make you a sucessful hunter. If you are relentless enough eventually you will have some sucess. The degree of that sucess especially when your talking about hunting big woods and inches on a deers head involve some degree of chance. You can be smart, patient, relentless and unlucky. I have been lucky, but to say that it was all because of my woodsmanship and passion I would be doing a diservice too the deer gods that blessed me with the opportunity.
@chase720943 ай бұрын
Same. I killed an absolute monster 8pt. 3 years ago on first day in the first hr. Swore to myself that was only a blessing and to build an ego. And to just thank the woods gods for the deer. I got blessed. I did not outsmart that deer

Couldn’t agree more - “I only hunt Nov 5-11 rut funnels. There’s no way someone younger than me has killed 4x as many deer. Do the math on that!”

Yeah, if they hunted in these hell hole bear swamps on the East coast. They would piss their britches and quit real fast.
