Carolina rig is the only rig I use for bridge and pier fishing. If I really want to stealth it out I let the bait free fall if the tide/current isnt too rough. Knocker rig is also effective.

These how to vids always show me something new. I like to use a clip on bell weight. I can take it off without cutting the line. Looking forward to the catching vid now. Good work.

So how does the swivel rig compare to a knocker rig? Is there any difference in effectiveness?
@CaptChrisCanning4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. They are both used in different manners. The bait is presented differently, I use both, switch it up and figure out what they’re biting on
@acemurphy22 ай бұрын
Before tightening my knot, I always spit on it. During the tightening process, there is friction & friction ='s heat & you guessed it , heat ='s weakened fishing line. 😬

How long of a leader do you use with each? Thanks!
@CaptChrisCanning4 жыл бұрын
2-3ft
@buddyprice75413 жыл бұрын
Experiment, I use between 6" and 18" if I start out with a longer leader then lose the hook I tie another hook on the leader. Check for frayed line though.
