I really like how this trader broke down the trade, it is clear that he has a list of things to check off before entering the trade and he is disciplined. He also said that when he doesn't follow his process that his trades don't go as well. I really liked this video!

Mike, this was a truly incredible video on so many levels. Let me say that your encouragement to this trader on how he s systematic and plays to his strengths is amazing, I wish my leadership had even small fraction of this type of professionalism and class. Trader did an amazing job outlining all the variables that made this trade work for him and my favorite part was how he identified where to put on two more tiers of risk plus the tape example! Kid very methodical thinker. Logical and works the step by step. Tick and add I’m not sure if they would do a great addition to spy trading as it only adds noise to more things to check as I definitely did use those in the past and just served me to miss trades. And as he is more systematic he may end up missing entries the more checks he’s putting on himself. It is cool that he makes it much more than what it actually is there, but if it helps him. Good for him. I personally don’t believe in adding more to it than to location and psychology of price action. And it’s all in price and I guess you guys use vwap. I only use a 20 sma. Good job.

I use a Tick, Vix and ADD template. Wouldn’t trade the US indices without it, it’s incredibly helpful.

1TheWhiteKnight1 I’ve Ben checking vix too each day with my trading. Really helpful to know if there’s no volatility I probably shouldn’t try trading. Tends to be easier to get decent profit targets during more volatility

Thank you for sharing such valuable info! I need to be more systematic for sure! I do use RSI, vwap, and I watch price action using time and sales along with the level 2 action. I have a 9 and 50 ema to help with entries and exits on any trade I make. Still learning to see volume come in or leave. I am needing more reps along with other steps mentioned to get better as well. Every day is small steps lol
